Contact Import Automation Run Time

We have a contact import automation that runs daily and it takes sometimes more than 4 hours (usually at least 3) for the import to finish. The file size is well under the limit (around 25MB and more than 200K contacts) and I am wondering if there is anything that can be done to decrease the time it takes to finish the import?

    @lldropp - For 200k contacts, it is expected to take 3 hrs. Not sure if you can do anything here.

    However, have you tried breaking down your file into 2 or more files and using different automation for each file. Not sure if it will help but worth a try.
