We are creating a survey with some matrix tables where we have an "other" selection with a box for explanation. We would like to prevent any selection on that response unless the other box is populated. I am new to Qualtrics so not sure exactly how to do this. I don't have experience with java script. I'm sure this question has arisen before so would be grateful for any suggestions.

You would need to get the length for the statement with the textbox and then get textbox length as well. If anyone of them is blank while other is greater than one, then you will need to prompt.
