Invites being send out at different times?

We just launched a survey this morning and had it set to launch at 9:45am CST. A few people received it at the appropriate time, others received it an hour later, and I know someone else who hasn't received it yet. When looking at the mail history and pull the distribution report it says all were sent successfully.

Anyone know why this may have happened?

    In my experience, Qualtrics will sometimes stagger the distribution of messages. This is not uncommon, even with smaller batches. I know this because the distribution history will say they've all been sent, but I receive the bcc's of the outgoing messages in batches at different times. I think it has something to do with throttling but I would contact Qualtrics Support if you need a better explanation.

    For us, it depends on the number being distributed. We have had lists with over 24,000 people and it takes a while to send all. I have to update my dashboard with the number sent, so sometimes it takes over an hour or more.
