Adding a new data source to an existing dashboard? (Old data "disappears" and the icon just spins!)

I need to add a 5th data source to a dashboard that already has 4 data sources. Easy enough to walk through the steps but when the dashboard displays, no data (old or new sources appears) and the icon just keeps spinning.

Ideas?
