Hi Everyone,

I get an error message when I try to add javascript through the HTML view of my question. The "add javascript" menu is also not available when I click on the gear on the left of my question.

What might be causing that? What would I need to do to fix this?

The error message says " Javascript is not allowed in question text"...

What type of question is it? Can you add javascript to other questions? If you put javascript into the question text, did you remove it before trying to add it via the gear?

Try refreshing your session. Sometimes things get mixed up in the cache. You can use private browsing for your edits. Then if things get mixed up, quit the private browser and restart it.

@SimonChauchard,

You don't have JavaScript rights. Contact your Qualtrics Brand Administrator and ask them to add the JavaScript right.
