Add Responses in Progress to a widget

I am working on CX dashboard which has the purpose to show survey monitoring metrics.

I would like to include the number of responses that are in progress. Perhaps leverage from start/end date to create a widget. I can't seem to find the right metric available to use.

Any ideas?
