How do you put in the survey introduction and instructions? I had created a bock for it and used "Descriptive" to create the intro and instructions - but this text got numbered automatically as a question (so it became Q1). So I took out the question number -- but then the first survey question remained numbered as Q2 (and not Q1).

I'm not sure if I'm just missing it somehow but how do I end a survey to prevent people from taking it? Am I able to schedule it ahead of time or where do I go to click end? I've tried to search this question on here but haven't found an answer. Thanks!

I'd like a respondent to pick their birthday from a calendar/date picker and then calculate and store their age with the response. Is this possible?

Hi everyone, I wanted to add a drop down menu to an option of a multiple choice question. ! Thank you so much!

Hi, In order to save time and minimise possible mistakes, I'm looking to duplicate an existing survey I've created and tweak it quite a bit for a different group of people. (I know I could add a branch logic etc., but that would complicate things further).I just could not see anything in the support database on how to do this. Is it even possible? If yes, I need simple, clear explanations. Many thanks!Anne-Laure

I'm deleting some responses from my survey. Do I need to check the option "Decrement all quotas for deleted responses" when removing?

Hello - I like to include an estimated completion time in our survey emails, but noticed that Qualtrics no longer auto-calculates this time in the home menu. It used to be right here: ! I know that I can manually calculate the predicted duration using this logic: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-checker/survey-methodology-compliance-best-practices/#PredictedDuration But, am I missing a place where Qualtrics will calculate this for me?

I am new to qualtrics. I have developed 4 published surveys. Where can I find the links to these surveys?

Hi, I have a multiple choice question with 9 choices, however I require the person completing this question to be only able to select 3 of them. The question is: "When you are deciding which degree to pursue, what type of questions are most important to you? Choose three". There is another follow up question for each of the three choices selected so I have used Loop & Merge for this, which works well. Can you limit the amount of choices selected in a multiple choice question? Obviously you can make it a "single answer" multiple choice question but what I need is more like a "triple answer" multiple choice question. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks John

Hi guys, I have been researching on citing Qualtrics in an APA-formatted paper but couldn't find an exact answer. Would you be able to provide guidance on citing Qualtrics within and without text? Do I have to cite it in the references section like I do for other literature? Thank you!

My colleague set up a survey that we use every year and modify. She is no longer with us and I need to get the ownership and add a collaborator.

We have had a few reports of a dashboard that we created not working. It works for me, but a few people have said that they get an error message when they try to access the dashboard that says: "Whitelabel Error Page:This application has no explicit mapping for /error, so you are seeing this as a fallback. There was an unexpected error (type=Not Found, status=404)"Does anyone know what could cause this? Thanks!

Hi,Can somebody please help me with helping me to re-open an expired survey.  I have several people who haven’t yet completed the survey and when I checked the link to the survey to resend it to them again for completion the link took me to a page that said the survey had expired. I have gone in to ‘Survey’ then Options and I’ve changed the date of expiry and then tried to create a new link but it still sends me back the expired survey page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. tks

Hi all, any advise where can I download the uploaded file (pictures) by participants? Can we download in 1 batch?

I need to know how to allow a survey to be taken multiple times on the same computer by the same person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Is there a Hide Question of Inactivate Question function (based on need on certain time)?I know in Survey Gizmo, there is, but I don't see that option in Qualtrics. Thanks

I sent out a survey distribution about a week ago and now a lot of the people I sent it to are emailing me saying that when they click the link, they get a message that says "You have either already completed the survey or your session has expired." None of the people who have reported this appear as responses in my Data & Analysis tab - what is going on?

I click "Back Button. Enable respondents to change their responses." in the survey option tab in my survey. One respondent reported, "I tried the back button, it kick me out of the survey, had to go back into email which sent me to where I left off, but not allowing me to go back and amend an answer."How to fix this problem. I want a “back” button in the survey that allows going back to a previous question. Is this possible?
