"Pick, Group and Rank" question items alignment

Hi,I am trying to change the left alignment of the item in the columns of the groups in a ‘pick, group and rank question’.  Do you know how can I change the left alignment to a central alingment inside the column?All suggestions would be great appreciated.Screenshot attachedGiulio

SMTP_MISCONFIGURED: Issues with email messaging after SMTP replay setup

*relay instead of replay in the title… We followed the guide to set up SMTP relay to send email directly through the customer’s mail sever. The IT followed the guide below. https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/distributions-module/email-distribution/using-a-custom-from-address/#SettingUpAnSMTPRelayThe configuration was made. All domains are allowed.The extension is shared with all users.The QX support added some of the customer’s email address as default sender email and also as default reply-to email. This is a valid mailbox (employee-survey@customerdomain.com). When trying to send a message from some project, we receive error “Your organization’s email server is misconfigured. Please contact Customer Support. SMTP MISCONFIGURED”. Did someone encounter the same issue in the past? Any hint what could be missing or misconfigured? The setup in Qualtrics is the same as within the customer’s CX tenant (which works). Thanks for pointing us in the right direction!

Clear specific carousel question if user selects back chevron

If a respondent uses the “<” chevron to navigate to  / revisit a previously answered question, is it possible with Java or CSS to clear their response to that question (so that they may re-answer it)?I haven’t been successful so far . . .

How to add embedded data to report visualisations

I would like to have a table with all the answers to a question (free comments) and next to it embedded data gotten from a url link (for example language). But I noticed I can only do a breakout by embedded data, and not even all embedded data appears to be selected. The goal is to then send a report weekly only containing the latest new data with the answers to a question and next to each answer the embedded data (for example: language, type...) which comes from a url. Thanks in advance for the help!

Having Response to One Question Auto-populate the response to another on the same page?

I have three multiple choice questions on one page.1) I Accept Condition A (accept/reject)2) I Accept Condition B (accept/reject)3) Accept all / reject allWhat I want is when someone clicks Accept All on (3), for "Accept" to become automatically selected on (1) and (2) (with the opposite being true when Reject All is selected on (3)). From a UX perspective, it would be helpful if pressing a selection on (3) visibly changed the answers to (1) and (2), e.g. the bubbles next to them becomes selected. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?

Same answers, different IP addresses

Hello, I’m relatively new to Qualtrics so I am sorry if there is an obvious answer to my wonder...  I have had numerous partial responses, many of these have been stopped thanks to CAPTCHA as they must be bots. However, I have numerous responses which were all started at the same time and have exact same qualitative response for a certain questions. However, they all have different IP addresses. In addition, other responses completed earlier share the exact same qualitative responses for certain questions.  Any thoughts about how/why this may be happening would be greatly appreciated - thank you!

Clearing the Survey Started Status

Good afternoon, i’m hoping that someone here has something that may be able to help me. For most of our surveys we use a personal link, but do not send out with Qualtrics, rather I send the links to the appropriate account managers for them to reach out directly, then throughout the course of the survey period, I track progress and update the team by downloading the Distributions report and updating the tracking file.  My issue lies in the fact that several of the account managers will ‘test’ the links first and make sure they are correct. (ie: They will click the link.) This then triggers the Distributions to say that the survey has started. This of course throws off the tracking because in the distribution its status is Survey Started because the link has been engaged. I thought that maybe if i deleted the in progress responses that are just the clicked links it would update the distribution to go back to Email Not Sent, but it still has it as Survey Started. Is there any way to comp

Hi, I want to create a survey with the unique link for every user but I want to keep it anonymous. I used “Do NOT record any personal information and remove panel association (not recommended).” option on “end of survey” element.  I can still see the user’s information in “Data & Analysis” which includes user’s name and their location. Please help.

Logic based on the most common answer

We’re doing a sort of personality test where we have 12 questions and each question has four single pick answers. Let’s call them A, B, C and D. The answers vary depending on the question asked, but each A question is part of the group A of answers. I then need to create logic based on the most common answer they selected after answering all 12 questions. So let’s say that B was the most picked answer they will jump to Group B in the survey flow (where it might be more questions or a custom end message). I tried looking into scoring but I think that is not a good fit for this case. Any suggestion on how to do this? Bonus if it also works with randomizing the answers so they don’t see a pattern when answering.

Question about exit button on the consent page

Hi, I have a question about my survey. I have a consent page and I want to create an “exit survey” button at the end of the (first) consent page only. This button will direct those who took the survey to the thank you section I wrote at the end. I tried to use previous button but it appears some pages and it does not appear on the first page so it does not work. What can I do?

how to set up email trigger from survey that is still in progress?

hi all!i have a survey which comprises of 22 blocks. i need email trigger for certain questions from several blocks. but the problem now is, if the survey is not completed, the email does not trigger. i am using workflow to send email)i need the trigger to be sent immediately when certain criteria is met e.g. suicide thoughts from a respondent. can anyone please shed some light on the process to make this work?thanks!

Using Embedded Data for Images

Hello, I am working on setting up a survey that will show participants a total of 5 images. They will see 1 of 18 photos from “group 1” of my photo selection and will see 4 (out of 23) images from group 2. I am trying to use embedded data to pull the images from my Qualtrics library. I think (please correct me if there is a better way) that using embedded data would be my best option because I need to randomize it completely. Participants should randomly see all 5 images (the single image shown in group 1 should be in a random order within the other 4). Does anyone know how to set this up? I tried setting my embedded data up like: image = <img src="https://kellogg.qualtrics.com/CP/Graphic.php?IM=IM_fqNXqxqVEhZYDSU" style="width: 607px; height: 826px;">and had the question set up to include ${lm://Field/image}But when I tested it the images didn’t show up at all. Loop and merge didn’t work either because I need the images to be shown an equal amount. However, I am open to using th

For the past few weeks, whenever I go to clean my data set and delete bad responses, Qualtrics has taken a reallllly long time to process the request. Is there something going on behind the scenes that has caused this sudden slow down?

Comparing time values in Display Logic

hi,Just found this NEW issue and thought I’d share it.  I have a form that is only “available” from 9 PM to 1:30 AM.  I want users that open the form during the day (between 1:30 AM and 9 PM) to see a message (text graphic question) that says it’s not available until 9 PM. SO, I used display logic after first capturing the time: ${date://CurrentTime/MT} in an embedded data field. When I compared it (we’ve been using it for a long time - years) I compared it using the following Display Logic:Display if CapturedTIME was greater than 1:30 and if CapturedTIME was less than or equal to 21:00.  But today we found that this no longer worked properly.  After some troubleshooting (the fun part), we found that the end time was working in comparison but NOT the start time (1:30).  Through trial and error we found that we have to add a leading zero to the hard-coded comparison value of 1:30.  So when we use display logic and compare to 01:30 it worked. Hope this helps others.

Can't delete responses

I am following all of the directions for deleting survey responses: 1) go into Data & Analysis, 2) click on the box to the left of the data you wish to delete, and 3) click on the trash can. I get the wheel that says 1 request pending, and then eventually it stops, but the response I want deleted isn’t deleted, it’s still there. Any ideas on how to delete the unwanted responses and actually have them delete?Thanks,Tiffany

Respondents Selecting Unique Times for Scheduling

I’m looking to see if there is an easy way to have respondents to a survey select from a list of times (eg. 11:05AM-11:10AM, 11:10AM-11:15AM), and whenever one user submits with that answer, other users are unable to select that time, to prevent double booking.To explain it a bit better, if Respondent A selects 11:05AM-11:10AM, then any Respondent after Respondent A wouldn’t be able to choose 11:05AM-11:10AM.

Unable to import contacts to a new list - ImportStatusCode 42

Hey all,I am currently trying to move a contact list from one directory to another but repeatedly failed because of “ImportStatusCode” = 42.  What i’ve done is I exported the existing contact list as CSV from the old directory and tried to import it without changing anything in the CSV. When importing the CSV via “Add to contact list” and “Upload a file” I received the following information: When looking into the Report, all i receive is the following information: ImportStatus “failed”, ImportStatusCode “42”, ContactListContactStatus “Failed”, ContactListContactStatusCode “63I looked into the explanation of the status codes on the official website, but unfortunately this does not help much.  I tried the following to avoid the error without any success:disable identity resolution in Directory Settings exporting CSV without Contact statistics export TSV and import TSV I hope that someone might have an idea what i could try next. Thanks in advance! Kind regardsJannik
