In the first question, you have a matrix table with brand options "A" through "E." Your task is to indicate whether you'd consider buying these brands next time.

If you choose either "4. Likely to consider" or "5. Very likely to consider," the next set of questions will be automatically pre-selected for you.

How can I make this logic work?

@hachiware10: you can use "Display Logic" or "Skip Logic" options to achieve this.

Add the follow-up questions that should be pre-selected if respondents choose “4. Likely to consider" or "5. Very likely to consider." Go to the "Logic" section for the follow-up questions and set up skip logic based on the responses to the first question. You can specify that if the answer to the first question is "4" or "5," then skip to the relevant follow-up questions.

Using this, respondents who indicate that they are likely or very likely to consider a brand will be automatically directed to the appropriate follow-up questions, while others will skip those questions.

You can also add display logic on every follow-up question for each brand.

@hachiware10 Use Display logic to display the question only if likely to consider or very likely to consider options are selected. Use Default choice option to pre-populate the questions with an answer choice selected.
