What is the maximum number of entries in a multiple choice question?

We have a very long list of options (30,000) which we were hoping to add to a dropdown list and then integrate select2 to allow users to search within this list. However, this doesn't seem possible and qualtrics crashes. Does anyone know what the limit is? - The support states that there is a limit of 10,000 cells in a drill down question but I can't find a limit for the multiple choice question. Thanks

hi @RosieIER , it is 30000 in field drop-down. you can add multiple questions as non mandatory.

Hi @RosieIER - I am having the same issue with Qualtrics crashing/freezing up when trying to create a dropdown of 9k. Did you ever get your question to work as expected?

I did get the 30,000 in but it slowed the survey down too much. I found that 10,000 was ok but there was still a bit of a delay loading the page so in the end we removed the question. Good luck!
