@John_Smith88,Qualtrics will automatically carry forward the randomized order from Q10 to Q11. However, the issue is it will not carry forward the exclusive choices as exclusive. So, you can use carry forward, but in the 2nd question you’ll have to add two new exclusive choices and use JS to hide the two carry forward exclusive choices and move the two new exclusive choices to the bottom of the list.If you are interested, this function moves the new choices to the bottom of the list.
@JasonPatrie,You can use JavaScript to split the string into 1000 character chunks and set embedded data fields for each chunk. I would do it in the addOnPageSubmit function of the text entry question. You will need to define embedded data fields for the maximum number of chunks in the survey flow prior to the block containing the text question.
@Fergus N - The problem is your randomizer set up. It will display one of the 4 items under it. If Condition=0 goes with Non-Environmental and Condition=1 with Environmental, then you should add two groups under the randomizer (Non-Environmental and Environmental) and put the question blocks and set embedded data blocks under their respective group.
@sofita - The script @RickB provided needs to be added to the end of survey message inside a <script> tag. If you put it in a survey question, the survey response won’t be recorded.

Qualtrics determines when to switch from desktop to mobile and vice versa based on window size and there is no way to control it. I have a function that always forces mobile (aka accordion), forceAccordion, that you can contact me about via private message. It would be possible to modify it to only work below a certain window size (e.g., 1280).

Yes, by recoding everything as 0 or 2, you are saying that all 0’s are the same thing and all 2’s are the same thing even though they are different choices. You should probably recode everything to 1 through n, then assign a status some other way (e.g., survey flow branch that set’s an embedded data field).
@Vi86 - You can reduce the number of embedded fields and survey flow complexity by using one field for each category (e.g., coffee). Instead of using randomizers set the value of fields to a random number from 1 to 3. Then base display logic off those values. The one drawback is you can’t force an even distribution.

You’ll want to base the loop off a question. There are a couple of ways you could do it:Add a text entry question before the loop, make the default answer ‘Total Songs’, and hide the question with JS. Base the loop off the question. Pipe the song names into the loop like you have already done. Add a multiple choice question before the loop with the piped song names as choices. Add display logic to only display the choice if the pipe field is not empty, and hide the question with JS. Base the loop off the displayed choices.
I’ve read a few articles saying bolding the email subject line may result in higher open rates. I figured out how to format the subject lines using rich text editor (you need to start in email message, format the subject line, and switch the type of email to subject). However, the subject lines don’t come through any different when the email is sent. I tested on Outlook and Gmail. Does anyone know if it’s possible for recipients to receive formatted subject lines? Email subjects can’t be formatted. It has nothing to do with Qualtrics. The only way to bold an email subject is to use unicode bold characters. However, using all unicode characters increases the odds of the message being tagged as spam.
You could use the built-in select2 ajax functionality, but you need a web server to host a server side script and the data (preferably in a database).

@prashantgoswami - You can’t. I suggest starting with a Conjoint then adding your own Van Westendorp using an existing question type(s) (e.g., you could use a slightly modified Constant Sum question).

Yes, you probably need a paid account for bot detection.Try adding a Recaptcha question to the beginning of your survey.
@AnnaP,Yes, you’ll update the JavaScript section. Just replace everything that is there with the code I provided. The only customization needed is replacing "background text goes here" with the placeholder text you want in your text input field.

To add @JesperAndersen’s answer….Once you turn on Bot detection, you can add a branch to your survey flow after the first question block to screen out any responses where Q_RecaptchaScore is less than 0.5.

@TomG how would I add this if I have a Yes No for choices (single select), and if yes s selected, a list of options appears (multiple select) It would be easier to do a yes/no question followed by a MC question on the same page with in-page display logic.
