I have a survey block with a multi-page timer built in javascript, ensuring that respondents are auto-forwarded after ten minutes. The code hides the next button and presents a "check"-button to participants to advance within the block. The code runs nicely. However, I'd also like to hide the "check"-button a few seconds for every new page. The code below seemed initially ok to me; it displays the "check"-button after the participant has been on the page for three seconds, but when I click on the "check"-button nothing happens. Any ideas what might be going wrong here? Many thanks! Ing _____________________________ this.hideNextButton(); var delayInMilliseconds = 3000; setTimeout(function() { $('NextButton').insert({before: "<input id=\\"checkButton\\" type=\\"button\\" value=\\" >> \\" title=\\" >> \\">"}); }, delayInMilliseconds);
I am fairly new to Qualtrics and I am generating a loop and merge for an experiment. The block I am looping contains a question with around 30 randomly generated numbers in a matrix. The loop and merge repeats the question with newly generated numbers each time. I'd appreciate suggestions as to how, for each loop and merge, I might save all these random numbers?
Hi, I would like to use a "Matches Regex" custom validation to ensure that a text entry is a number between 0 and 2. Decimals should be allowed (but not necessary), but they have to use "." (not ",") as a separator. I have tried "^[0-2]+.[0-9]$", but there are two problems: 1) the code allows "," as a separator and 2) it does not allow a number without a decimal. I am new to Regex, so any leads would be much appreciated!
