Hi I would like to have a response rate table by relationship type.Same as the one that are possible with any metadata field, i tried with relationshipID since relationshipname is not an option, but the widget keeps breaking down.  Does anyone know a possible solution for this, or a way around?

I am new to qualtrics and have little experience with technology. I am trying to calculate a Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index which requires a calculation between three different questions. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this within Qualtrics? I am willing to pay for hours spent tutoring/helping. 

Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’m having.In my Survey flow, I’ve set up an embedded data field that’s determined by the URL.For example, ?source=Label or ?source=Social.  This part is working correctly, and the data is being captured as expected in the Data & Analysis section.However, I’ve also created a workflow to pipe all the data into a Google Sheet.The only field that isn’t being transferred is Source. For this field, I’m using the expression ${e://Field/Source}. Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening? Thanks :) 🤞

Hi XM Community,My org is using ExternalReference as our sole identity resolution rule and we want to see if we can avoid triggering a contact creation when a record (whether in a workload, file upload, etc.) contains an ExternalReference value which does not already exist?i.e. if I upload a contact with ExternalReference 1234, and there is no match for it in the system, I want to discard the record, not add the contact. If I upload contact w/ Ext. Ref. 123 and it is found, I want to update that existing contact.We have a team that populates the directory via API, so we prefer to allow them to manage the contacts and want to minimize erroneous info and unverified contacts added from secondary systems. We utilize workloads, manual file uploads, and the Qualtrics File System to quickly populate lists (sometimes thousands of contacts, so hand choosing contacts is out of the question), so we’re looking for directory level settings or logic to satisfy this requirement.Anyone resolved a simi

Therefore, I need to dynamically change the Q_Language value. I can do this in the Embedded Data section of the action set in my intercept by selecting Value: Value from JavaScript and inserting the expression: (datalayer.tone_of_voice === "informal") ? "nl-in" : "nl";This works ok, but since we have multiple intercepts containing multiple action sets, it would be easier for me to centralize this logic somewhere.QuestionIs it possible to centralized this logic somewhere so that it is valid for all intercepts inside a web projects?I was thinking of putting it on the theme level, inside the header. HI All, Following the migration from the old world of Directory > automations (where I used an SFTP process to import a file of contacts and distribute a survey).  The screens / reports I get / can see no longer provide the number of lines imported and the number of surveys sent.  Is this something I can get to using piped text or something in the flow?  I used to review the reports for both import and distribution pages and from that I could easily see if the values matches or (on some occasions) were massively different (we have had three occasions this year now where double the number of surveys have been sent due to issues with Qualtrics’ internal systems repeating the send process for some unknown reason!). Any thoughts or suggestions (piped text / undisclosed embedded fields / API calls or a code task that could loop through and count even!) would be most helpful Thanks Rod Pestell

Hi all,I would like to get some support with regards of the design of a three wave survey that I am working on. I've been working on this for days but can’t find a solution…. I am conducting a three wave study via Prolific, using Qualtrics. Participants will use an anonymous link to enter the survey. In the first wave, I automatically collect their ProlificID and they have to manually enter the name of a friend in a text field. In the second and third wave (with an interval of 3 days) I want to remind them of the name of the friend that they entered in the first wave based on their ProlificID. I considered several options:Working with directories: from my understanding this would require a personal link to look up the name of the friend from the contact list, that is no option. Embed the company name in the Qualtrics link: this would also ask for a personal link, that is no option. I’m fairly new to Qualtrics and hoping maybe someone else has done something similar.  Is it possible to add a participant to a lifecycle project via a workflow from another source/ Qualtrics survey/ form?  Can someone provide detailed instructions in order to do so?Trying to build a workflow that would work something like the following:HR Manager enters an Employee ID # via Microsoft form or Qualtrics survey notifying of employee intent to term  Workflow immediately picks up Employee ID# from the form or survey and matches to Employee Directory (employees are already populated and do not need to be added) Participant is added to Termination survey (survey set up to email the participant as soon as added) in order to capture their feedback before last day of employment.

Hello All,I have a survey that call a web service to pull data base on who is taking the survey. The survey flow is sending the person ID to lookup their info from the web service. The survey flow get the data from the web service and set the data as embedded data. The survey then present the embedded data on a MC question type.The issue we are running into is that SOMETIME the data doesn’t come back quickly enough before the survery move on to the next step to present the MC choices. Because of this, answer choice selection are sometime blank. Is there a way to slow down or extend the call before it move on to the next step? Thank you!Jody

Hello!I’m creating a survey with 41 questions in total. I plan for there to be 40 content questions with 1 attention check. I want the 40 questions to be presented in a randomized order to each participant, but I want the attention check to always be in a fixed spot near the end. How would I do this while ensuring there are no repeat questions? Thank you!

There is data (available somewhere) to support this but I can’t find it/have restricted access/something.My participants’ leaders want status reports that include Subject-identifier, how many nominations were sent and how many received by relationship-type.  See attached file for the desired display.I’ve been manipulating the exported data to create the following in excel but it should be possible within the 360-platform as all the information is available -- nominations sent is part of the upload/relationships of the subject-detail, and there’s even a widget-filter for “nominations sent” in the dashboard builder (that doesn’t work -- it only returns completed responses).  The # SENT data (used to initialize the 360-program) is from the upload files (we currently do not allow subjects to add/modify their evaluators)I would be forever grateful if someone out there has figured out how to do this inside Q-360.In dashboards, I can create parts of the chart with a page-filter of relationshi

One of the researchers on our team had this idea and I am posting on their behalf. We distribute our studies through our marketing team right now causing us to have less control over how many people respond or sign-up. Specifically for moderated studies, it’d be nice to be able to cap the number of interviews you have for the entire study. This is similar the cap you have for the maximum of interviews in one day, but just scoped larger to be for the entire study. Hope that makes sense!

I have an anonymous survey link onto which I’ve added some query strings. For one of the URL query strings I would like to set a range rather than a consistent value, so urlexample.com?id_range:01-100 Then I would like to have a text entry question with custom validation (I believe the best way to do this, though maybe just in the java editor) to only accept answers within the range specified in the URL query string range (so in the example, 01 through 100). I do have id_range set as an embedded variable from the URL in the survey flow. Thank you!

Hello, since today, I have encountered an issue managing my surveys. When I click on a survey in my projects page, I only see a blank screen, and the editing page does not load at all. On the browser's developer tools console, I see the following error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token (at 2166.103f6253452a64bbca40.min.js:1:1)The other sections (distribution, data and analysis, etc.) work when accessed through the menu that appears after right-clicking the survey.I would appreciate any help, since as of now I cannot edit any of my surveys.Thank you. P.S I also have not found any way to report this technical bug properly...

Hello, I am displaying images (at the top of the page) and then two related questions (just below the image). Questions are radio button choices and they are always the same regardless of images (there are 16 images altogether randomly presented). This part is working fine with Loop and Marge (with three fields, Field-1: image link from library, Field-2: image_type, Filed-3: image_name) I want to know: Which image was presented, type of image, answer choice selected for Q1, answer choice selected for Q2. I have created embedded data (16 images x 4) 64 fields (it’s a messy way) but having difficulties in saving the data:Image name (Filed 3, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Image type (Filed 2, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-1 (Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-2(Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) I want the data (after exp
