Introducing: XM Thought Leadership on the XM Community

Our Community members around the world are looking for new ways to share their expertise here on the XM Community, and we are proud to offer a new way to contribute knowledge: XM Thought Leadership

The XM Thought Leadership category on the XM Community is a place for everyone to come together in a Community of Practice, by posting thought-provoking questions related to CX, EX, Strategy & Research, and more.

This new category is open to all XM Community members and will differ from other posts in the Community in that this new category is not intended for Qualtrics product questions (eg., how do I do xyz in Qualtrics).

Instead, this category is a destination for creative, open-ended questions related to XM practice and theory.

Questions can include topics as diverse as:

  • What is the future of CX?
  • What role does AI play in improving EX outcomes?
  • How will consumer feedback shape CX trends in 2025?
  • In what ways can we optimize experiences for customers in air travel? (or any segment/industry)

Qualtrics product expertise is not required to contribute to the XM Thought Leadership category on our XM Community. Anyone within the Qualtrics universe is welcome to contribute -- and, you will earn double points in our Rank and Rewards program for contributing. That means you can unlock rewards and merch more quickly by contributing questions and replies in this new category:

  1. Create a thought leadership question | 20 Points
  2. Post a reply | 10 points

Note: The double points will be manually awarded weekly at the end of each week for activity in this category.

XM Thought Leadership posting guidelines:

  • You must post an original thought leadership question. Provide context and background for your question
  • You should link to a related article, website, news story or similar resource to help add depth to your question
  • Preferred: Including quotes or citations from others in the field, additional sources, research, metrics or anything else that helps members better understand your topic
  • Please, no AI-generated thought leadership. We are looking for human thoughts 🤓
  • Also encouraged: Cross-posting your XM Thought Leadership community post on LinkedIn 💡

XM Thought Leadership reply and discussion guidelines:

  • Replies should be substantive and thoughtful
  • Replies can also contain links to additional research, news, or other resources to add depth to the discussion and encourage dialogue
  • Responses that are too brief (such as simply replying, “I agree” or similar will not earn points)
  • Responses should be human 🤓 (no AI)

We can’t wait to join in the engaging discussions in our new XM Thought Leadership category. Questions? Feel free to ask admins @Michael_Cooksey or @AlonsoC

@Michael_Cooksey This is perfect, I’ve never thought of Community in this way before the XLA post from @SteveBelgraver  last week.
