Does anyone know how to set up a self-paced reading experiment using the survey platform?

"Self-paced Reading" allows readers to use button presses to control the exposure duration for each word of a text they read. Usually we use this paradigm with a specific software but now I hope to move it online.

To achieve self-paced reading effect, I want to know:

  1. how to display a question word by word and allow the participants to control the exposure duration for each word by using button presses
  2. how to record reading time of each word
  3. how to display choices after participants reading the last word of the question
  4. how to allow participants to use button presses to react to the question

This is no doubt a huge project for me but might be an easier task for some advanced users of this platform. Therefore, if you happen to know something, although not everything, about it, please let me know!

You would use a combination of html and advanced JavaScript to achieve all the items listed. I sent you a private message.
