invalid user in api call

Hello, I receive an error while calling the api via the webservice in a survey workflow and also by using an external python script: {"errorMessage":"invalid_client","errorCode":"AUTH_6.0"}I have set the api token as authentication. Any idea what causes the error? Displaying a Pdf in a fullscreen mode in qualtrics

Hello, I have been able to embed a PDF in Qualtrics. However it is not being shown as fullscreen. I tried all possible styling solution in the HTML code but still it does not help.  Here is my codeI also tried this but I still do not see the pdf stretched across screen <iframe height="100%" width="100%" id="pdfContent" src="https://fiu.qualtrics.com/CP/File.php?F=F_ggfg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div> I also tried - <iframe src="PDF Link + #toolbar=0" height="100%" width="100%"></iframe>

Decrypt files before importing using PGP option not available in workflow

I am configuring workflow ‘Extract data from Amazon S3’ by placing encrypted file in S3 bucket. But in workflow i don’t see option of Decrypt files before importing using PGP . This option is available in Response import automation but not in workflow. Any pointers how can i decrypt files while extracting from S3 bucket through workflow?

Pick, Group and Rank question - Full time screen and change items dimensions

Hi All,I am trying the best that I can to have a full time screen mode of this question but i have the following problems that I am not able to resolve, any help would be much appreciated.The problems are:Change dimensions of the group box Make items and group boxes of the same dimensions Use full time screen mode and reduce the length of the slide bar on the right, so user can access to full time mode and do not have to bother to use the slider so many times. Find enclosed a screenshot of the question. Highlighted in yellow the white space that i want to reduce and the length of the slide bar that i want to reduce as well.

MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social Status on Qualtrics

Hi I would like to use the MacArthur Scale of Subjective Social Status on a Qualtrics Survey. This requires at the minimum a vertical scale, preferably with a scale ladder graphic. Does anyone have any experience developing/designing this? Or any advice to improve my efforts, equally welcome!So far I've blended knowledge from across the developers corner and not been super successful. But I am close... I think. AWS connection through workflow

I am accessing AWS through Access key and client key, but when I configure my Qualtrics workflow (Old version) using same keys, it fails and gives message internal server error.Any pointers please.

Retrieve data with Java from a matrix table type question

Hi all,I am looking at the java instructions to retrieve the data inputted in a matrix-type question. My question looks like this:  The A and B boxes are text entries but conditioned to numerical values. The options 1, 2, 3, 4 seem to be radio type. What I want is to save in a embedded variable what is inputted in A and B, then retrieve also which option was selected 1 or 2 for A or 3 or 4 for B.  Edit: I want to do this while submitting the answer because I need to calculate a value from the A and B boxes that conditioned the appearance of the next question. Thank you for any insight!

Survey Workflow, Export response to Excel use workflow task, missing derived fields, NPS group etc.

Slider labels: How to move from top to side or remove

Hi! I have two different questions about position in slider questions: moving labels from above the bar to the left side of the bar side with the slider/slider type, and changing position with the star type. Slider label from top to side:In the editor when you’re setting up a slider question, the labels are to the left, like this:  But on the front end they go full width and move the label to above the left side of the slider, like this:This has proven confusing for people, as once they can’t see the top line they revert to normal labeling patterns and think of them like a caption, where the word below is a label for the thing above. Is there a way I reduce the width of the slider/scale so the labels are even with the bar on the left side, positioned more like in the editor? In another question I have a slider in the star format. Full size image/ embed presentation in survey

Hi, I am hoping to embed a presentation within my Qualtrics survey and from other entries it seems that the best way to do so is insert each slide as an image. The problem I came across is that when the slides are presented they are really small and don’t stretch across the whole screen. The survey is going to be on PC monitors so I am not concerned about usability on phones. I am not very familiar with HTML and was hoping someone may have a solution or can provide some advice on how to get the image to fill the screen! Thanks in advance!I used: <img src="my_image.jpg" style="width:100%;">But the size of the image still seems to be limited by qualtrics.

How do I insert a scrollable PDF into a question block?

Hi all,I'm trying to insert a consent form (PDF) into a survey and I was wondering if there was any way that I could make it so that the survey as a whole shows up on one question block as a scrollable PDF instead of a link that leads to the form? They don't need to be able to click/edit it, just scroll through it.I've tried inserting it as PDF, picture, and as an RTF file to no avail.Thank you!

Pick, Group and Rank question option alignment

Hi @TomG,  Thank you so much for the previous answer. It was of great help Currently, I’m working on a ‘Pick, Group and Rank’ question and I expect most of my respondents to fill this survey on a mobile phone.In the question I’m asking the respondent to drag and drop the top 5 countries by their revenue contribution and then rank them in descending order.When I’m previewing this question in my mobile phone, the options added to the box are getting centrally aligned, hence are not visible to the respondent. Attaching the screenshots from the preview section: Question as visible on the mobile phone before moving the options to the box: After adding the options to box:  As you can see the options added in the box are not visible thus making it extremely difficult for the respondent to re-arrange the options. How to match questions in Qualtrics with dropdown options from Zendesk

Hi Qualtrics Team,Hope you're well.We have recently include new questions in Qualtrics survey and we're having trouble matching the dropdown options from Zendesk with the questions in Qualtrics.  Unfortunately, the documentation provided by Qualtrics Zendesk Extension (qualtrics.com) doesn't explain how to do this, as it only covers text, numeric, and checkbox fields - not dropdown or multi-selection options.We need to connect this type of question with Zendesk. Can you please tell me which field to use in Zendesk to map out the answers? When I tried using a dropdown field, I couldn't reuse it. I was also unable to match it with the question I needed to link it with. Based on your expertise and experience with other customers who may have similar questions and also use Zendesk, what sort of field do they usually use? Is it a text field so that they can link to the Qualtrics question? I understand a dropdown field will display its options, but how do I connect it to the Qualtrics questi

Allow extension to run for more time?

Hi @qHubert,I’m not sure where to direct this question, so I’m starting with you :)Is there any way it would be possible to have an extension run for more than the default 45 seconds?In short, I’m building an extension that would need to process a lot of users in a project, and perform various tasks on them. In my current code, I had to build in limits to stop the code from processing too many users at once, as this would mean the code would hit the 45 second limit and then fail.This means that I can fairly safely process 250 users in 45 seconds, but if the server is slow, then I can risk that this would not even work. Running this every hour would give me the ability to process 6000 users per day, but in some cases this will not be enough.Worst case scenario, the solution in that case would be to split this into multiple projects, based on country or similar, and then just set up 8 projects with 8 connected workflows that would then load 8 jobs at the same time on the servers. Javascript to move the margin of a question

I have a multiple choice question after another question that I want to indent slightly. Trying to achieve something that looks like this: Question 1 (Indent) Question 2 (2-columned) (Indent) - choice 1 (Indent) - choice 2... I was thinking JS for the question rather than CSS since, CSS would change all the margins for that question type.

Get Survey data only for surveys that changed.

Do I have an option to call all https://xxx1.qualtrics.com/API/v3/surveys/ , but only the ones that has any update.  Do we have a filter here on lastModified?  I didn’t see documentation for that. The same question is about this API: https://api.qualtrics.com/{SurveyId}-retrieve-survey-json-schema Do I have a way to know that the schema has changed.The same for https://xxx.qualtrics.com/API/v3/surveys/ I don’t want to read it every day, only if a change has accrue.Thanks,Lihi

Javascript & HTML carry information over between question blocks

Hello, I’m currently working on an n-back task (both 2 and 3 back). For practice trials, I want there to be feedback, that displays when the participant correctly/incorrectly identifies a match.When clicking preview question/block, everything works as intended. However, when I preview the entire survey (multiple trials are shown after each other), only the first practice trial shows the right feedback. The other blocks are able to identify correct matches and responds to input, but it will only briefly flash “Correct” before switching to “Incorrect”. It does not matter if there are other, not practice trials in-between, the issue always occurs. n-back task on Qualtrics

Hi all,I’m trying to run the n-back working memory task on Qualtrics (using the JavaScript code from an existing academic paper: https://www.tqmp.org/RegularArticles/vol19-2/p136/p136.pdf), but when I try to use it in Qualtrics, I get the following error: “Invalid JavaScript! You cannot save until you fix all errors: Unexpected token )”. Any ideas of what might be wrong (e.g., indentations/spacing issues)? I’d really appreciate the help!
