How to use stimuli that were used in the loop of the previous block?

Dear all,I'm conducting an experiment where participants compare two individuals (A and B) in each round and make some decisions. I have a total of 1,225 pairs of A and B, and participants will make three different decisions in three blocks (e.g., splitting money, taking money, etc.). Clearly, it is impossible for the same participant to evaluate all pairs. Therefore, in the first task, which is the first block, I used Loop & Merge, placing all A in field1 and all B in field2, randomly selecting 30 rows, and referencing them in the questions using piped text, presenting one pair at a time, as shown in the image below:Since I need to perform three different tasks in three separate blocks, I am now facing the issue of how to reference the same 30 pairs of A and B in the subsequent blocks (blocks 2 and 3). Ideally, I would like to randomize the order in the later blocks as well. However, if that is not possible, I can accept maintaining the same order as in block 1. What is essential

Use images instead of responses in multiple response question

For a multi-select multiple choice question I would like to show images instead of responses, the idea in my head being that it will sort of resemble the app icons on a phone.I have put the images in the choice text but am not able to hide the checkboxes despite trying a number of methods, the following being one of them:Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { var questionContainer = this.getQuestionContainer(); jquery(thisquestion).find("input[type=checkbox]").hide(); });Another big question - right now clicking on the image will check the box but will it do that if box is hidden?Bonus points - I’d love to outline the images when selected (and remove if clicked again). Right now there’s a blue background on click but it’s not as clean as what I’d like to see. Thank you for any input!

Search Directory Contacts api question about filters

For the Search Directory Contacts api https://api.qualtrics.com/c79e78a949572-search-directory-contacts Is it possible to filter based on the value of an embedded data field? The documentation above doesn’t appear to cover this(qualtrics newbie here), but I’m attempting to help someone replace an older api request that was doing this. Example: if I have an embedded field, XYZ, I want to filter on XYZ=’ABC”. Thanks for your help.

Use javascript to set minimum time in flatpickr

Hi there, I have a questionnaire where participants fill the start and end date of an activity they did during the day. They can enter up to 40 activities and I would like to make sure the start time of an entered activity is not before the end time of the previous activity. Trouble Creating OAuth Connection to Constant Contact using Web Service

I am attempting to create an OAuth connection to Constant Contact using the Web Service task but I am receiving the following error when attempting to create the connection.400Bad RequestYour request resulted in an error. How to extract Survey Responses those are in progress and update the status in salesforce

Hey all, I have a requirement in which I want to identify the responses those are in progress (use case in which user opens the survey but doesn’t submit it) so that I can update in salesforce for the status field ‘Incomplete’. I am able to see ‘Responses in progress’ on Data & Analysis tab but I am not able to fetch in progress responses in workflow editor using task ‘Extract Survey Responses’ (I have tried applying filter for ‘Finished’ and ‘Progress’ fields). I have also tried with triggered workflow but this works only for responses that has been submitted. It would be really really helpful if anyone can provide their insights on this. Thanks in advance!!

WebService task returns all values in one field - How do I separate them?

Creating counter showing number of selected choices that updates dynamically?

I've created a multiple choice question, where multiple answers can be selected. The list of possible choices is quite long (~100), so I am trying to create a counter that will display the number of answers someone has selected, and I would like it to update dynamically as respondents are making their selections. Is this possible? Loading external API(google maps) no longer working.

I have been developing a survey with a page that presents the user with a google maps image based on their input area code. It was looking great until this week (AUGUST 21, 2023) when the map api no longer appears to be capable of loading (I’m getting now key errors). I’ve validated my maps key running a page hosted locally on my computer, but I can’t get even a simple map to load in qualtrics. Has something changed? This is a mission critical component. API Pagination in R and httr2

I am attempting to use R’s httr2 package to return a list of all mailing lists from the list mailing list endpoint. I am really struggling to leverage the httr2 iteration helpers in this context. Specifically, it seems the skipToken query parameter is encoded and I cannot simply use iterate_with_offset(“skipToken”, offset = 100)How should the skipToken value (the offset argument in the above line of code) be encoded to be recognized by the Qualtrics API?

Highlight Question - Adding a frame to the text to be highlighted

Hello, I wanted to add a frame to the text that is selectable to highlight in order to differentiate it from the question. I know it’s possible to underline it with java script but it would be better for us to have a frame around the entirety of the text instead of word by word. Thank you so much!

Adding Timepicker to allow only specific times on survey

Hi there,I would like to know about how to set specific dates and times as options through JavaScript. While I’ve come across many articles explaining how to set up time, I haven’t found any that mentioned how to set specific dates and times “within the same question”.I’m curious if this is feasible and how it can be accomplished. Below is the code I’ve written so far, and currently, it allows setting dates, but I’m having trouble specifying the time： I’ve reviewed some articles which indicates how to set up time picker, but it’s not in the same question with specific dates, and most important, we could not assign specific times through it. Any help or step-by step go through would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Screen out respondents based on their text response to a zip code question

I’m using an anonymous link to serve my survey to panelists from a sample provider. One of my screener questions is “enter your 5-digit zip code”. I need that text entry to match one of 1,152 zip codes in a “qualifying zip code list”. If they don’t match, I need to screen the respondent out of the survey using survey flow branching. I’ve seen a JS suggestion and an authenticator suggestion. The JS I tried didn’t work (I’m sure I didn’t implement correctly, just tried cutting and pasting from the post), and I followed the authenticator directions and created and linked a contact list with the zips, but now can’t figure out what to do next to actually create the branch to term zips that do not appear in the list.

Do not show "session was outdated" error message after session update via API

Hi all,I’m manipulating a survey session in the background via API during runtime of the survey (https://api.qualtrics.com/33d67961b023c-update-a-session). The session is started by the user in the normal Qualtrics Survey frontend, not by another API call (https://api.qualtrics.com/d0ea23036b269-start-a-new-session). During my manipulation I’m referring to the sessionID that is generated automatically when the session is started by the user.This might be the reason why Qualtrics thinks, that the session is somehow outdated. Following error message is then shown to the user in the frontend:Does anybody see a possibility to prevent this message to be shown?I wasn’t able to find something in the configuration. CSS wasn’t possible since the error let the survey switch into some kind of inactive-state which prevents me of clicking buttons even thought I was able to display:none the message itself.Thank you!
