Question: What are your favorite December holidays and traditions?

The festive season is fully underway and we want to hear from YOU! December is filled with a variety of holidays and traditions celebrated across the globe.

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, or any other meaningful holiday, we’d love to hear your stories! Share what makes this time of year special for you—do you have unique family customs, favorite foods, cultural events, or personal rituals? Pictures are encouraged!

Additionally, if you don't celebrate a specific holiday, let us know how you embrace the spirit of the season!

We go skiing 🎿between Christmas 🎄and New Years 🎇 which is something I really look forward to every year. I may not be smiling 😃 but spending time with the family 👪 being outside all day🌞 and doing a sport is a wonderful 💜combination!

December is all about joy, giving and cherished traditions! Whether it’s lighting the menorah, sharing meals or celebrating the New Year, this season brings us together. ❤️

In my family, advent calendars are a fun tradition I look forward to every December!  But not just any advent calendar...I create my own.  Each year I come up with a different theme (this year is buttons/pins/stickers) and hide something in each of 25 magnetic tins on a board.  Then we open one each day to see what surprise is inside!  In the past I’ve done other themes like:  holiday related questions, foods and beverages to try, and puzzles.  It’s always a lot of fun and gets us in the spirit for the season!
