How do I embed audio files into Qualtrics?

I am trying to embed 12 audio clips (each 5s long) into my Qualtrics survey for participants to listen to. These clips are not supposed to play automatically. The audio clips are currently on my computer in WAV format. I’ve looked up some instructions on using HTML code and have gotten as far as adding a blank play button (see below). I tried uploading my audio files to Google drive and copy & pasting the URL (see below), but still no sound shows up.<audio controls=""><source src="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uqMG7MmmaP2_sGeQIelaaTgR5aG4Dpv7/view?usp=drive_link" type="audio/wav" /></audio> Any advice for someone who isn’t familiar with coding would be very much appreciated!! :)

Flow Analysis with Negative Themes

Hello community I have a case where qualtric, I pass a flow as true on a comment that is very positive. But if you check all its conditions it is asking for issues in negative or very negative mixed.Can you help me to understand if it was a QC error or my flow as it is created?This is the comment:This is the flow:  As you can see, this flow evaluates whether various topics such as the topic Attention is very negative, negative or mixed, AND whether ‘Allow us to contact you’ is set to Yes AND whether the Country is Argentina ...When evaluating the sentiments of the topics are inside an OR I don't understand why QC moved to this flow when it actually asks for the sentiment of the topics in negative… Thank you for your help...

Similar database of shops, district and region

I need to set up a similar database ... I need to create a flowchart of shops, district and region, so that I have updated information for current and historical transactions... these transactions are sent to qualtrics by Api from another connected system...Can you help me with any idea of how to set up a database in Qualtrics?

Slider question change of color change of selected part.

I need to customize the Slider’s progress line to display a different color than the default. For instance, if a respondent selects 25% on a 100% slider, the first 25% of the slider should be a different color from the rest of the bar. Also if we can add interval ticks that will be helpful as well. Example Shown in SS attached. Any assistance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Site to Site Question - Answering multiple choices at the same time

Hi,Is there a way to automatically answer several questions at the same time e.g. with an option like select all? I have several long tables in which yes or no selection is possible.It is very annoying to have to answer all individual points with Yes or No if all answers are No anyway. Below example of my list.  Thanks-

Timer restarts again when I hit submit button

When I hit the submit button without answering the questions, it restarts the time again (so even if I hit the button at 20 seconds it restarts again from 45 seconds). Audio timer error

Hi!In the Qualtrics platform, I added a question with an audio in it. The thing is that, after 1 minute, regardless of what I do, I automatically move on to the next question.How can I change that so there is not a limit of time?Thanks in advance!

Mandatory MCQ with timer

I have a question which has 3 options.  I want to add  timer  for 45 seconds for each question and auto-advance to the next question when the time is up.  Each question is mandatory (force response) but if they don’t answer the question within 45 seconds, I want them to be moved to the next question. I have 5 MCQ questions in a block , all separated by a page break. I also want the questions to stay in the same block as I am scoring the questions in a block. I tried some codes on XM community which used Java script by adding a hidden option (or label the hidden option as no response) but he hidden option keeps showing up and the timer restarts. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,My survey responses contain unique images (JPGs) that were uploaded by respondents. Is there a way to download all the images/JPGs at once? I have to share the images with a collaborator who is unfortunately not using Qualtrics. Thank you!

Javascript & ChatGPT API Return Issue

Hi,I have a web service API call from ChatGPT that returns a string set to a variable. I have prompted ChatGPT to return something like this: (Story ! Question ! Choice1 ! Choice2 ! Choice3)The issue comes in that next I have javascript that modifies this api return variable in the next block. About 30% of the time this works fine, and the other 70% it does not, because ChatGPT responds with a line break of some kind between the story and question:This gives me an unexpected token error when I set the javascript variable to the API return variable and shuts the whole code down, which has prevented me from error proofing the code.I wondered if I could do something in javascript to prevent this, but so far no luck. I have also been throwing a bunch of different prompts at ChatGPT to try to prevent this with no luck. (no formatting, no HTML formatting, single line of plain text, no newline characters, no page breaks, entire response in 1 paragraph). Let me know what’s possible, I apprecia

remove the next and back buttons on qualtrics survey

How can I completely remove the "Back" and "Next" buttons in Qualtrics? I have auto-advance set up for the first part of my survey, where images are displayed for 3 seconds each, and I’m concerned that the buttons are distracting. In the second half of the survey, participants make a selection, and the survey auto-advances after they answer, so the buttons remain unnecessary and distracting throughout.I’ve added JavaScript to hide the buttons (Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() {this.hideNextButton();this.hidePreviousButton();});) but the buttons reappear just before advancing to the next question. How can I prevent this from happening?

Repeating Through A Set of Blocks Multiple Times

Hi,I have a quiz survey with ChatGPT integration. At the start of the quiz I have 5 hard coded questions the user will answer. After these 5 questions, I want to ask if the user would like an additional question or to finish the survey. If they chose additional question, I want to send them through 3 blocks that use the ChatGPT API to create a new question, which I already have set up. Once they complete this question, I want to again ask them if they would like an additional question or to finish the survey. I want this process to repeat as many times as the user wants, and only finishing the survey when they click the “finish survey” option. How can I accomplish this? I am having a hard time understanding if loop & merge can accomplish this.Thank you

¡Help! updates maven dependency

When trying to include Qualtrics in an app, I get the following message regarding dependency updates - has anyone experienced something similar or knows the solution path?Please update your Maven dependency on com.google.android.play:core:1.10.3 to a version compatible with Android 14. Your com.google.android.play:core:1.10.3 library is not compatible with targetSdkVersion version 34 (Android 14), which introduces a backwards-incompatible change to broadcast receivers. As a reminder, starting August 31, 2024, Google Play will require all new app versions to target Android 14. Please update to the latest library version dependency to avoid app crashes.

Can you restrict multiple entries using anonymous survey link

Can you restrict multiple entries using anonymous survey link? Looking to use anonymous survey link to have users complete survey, any ideas on how to do this while still restricting users to submit more than one response. Can I set up any restrictions related to their specific answers? For example, if I ask for their email, can I restrict their submission if they have already used that email to submit a previous survey?

How to manage new distributions and response status

I need to understand how to deal with multiple distributions for a survey.I’d sent emails for all the contacts on my directory for the first time. But now I need to send a different email (different content) for 4 samples of my directory for which I’d already created the corresponding samples. I think I will break the response status for each contact, I mean I will no longer have one unique status for each External Data Reference in my directory.My question is, how can I do to send those 4 distributions with different content each one in order to keep the unique response status for each contact id?

react-native-qualtrics embedded data on iOS not working

I am on version 2.6.0.We have an react native app and are using your package. The survey pops up and the answers come through but the embedded data does not on iOS.So I am wondering how that could happen as it seems the setup is correct as it is popping up on both platforms and the answers come through and the embedded data is coming through on Android.
