Topic: Protecting Your Survey
If you are considering providing a reward for survey completion or want to reduce the risk of collecting fraudulent responses, adding some of the following security options can help you reach your goal.
The most commonly used security options include: requiring a password to begin the survey, restricting survey access to only allow individual or personal links, and preventing multiple submissions based on browser cookies. Adding a referral website URL is a lesser-used security feature that allows you to post your survey link to a website and restricts access to participants who specifically begin your survey via your specified website.
Fraud detection is an additional feature that includes tools that help secure your survey by preventing email scanning software from starting survey sessions and checking collected responses for bots and providing a fraud score.
