What is Basecamp Wednesdays?
Every Wednesday we will look at different topics discussed on XM Basecamp and provide a brief description of the Basecamp resource.
Whether you’re just getting started on your XM journey or ready to take your program to the next level, this weekly series is meant to help all users find Basecamp resources.

Topic: User Groups and Shared Libraries
User groups are an essential tool that facilitates large-scale collaboration among any users in an organization. When a user group is created, a shared library is automatically made available to all group members where content such as survey questions, blocks, messages, graphics, files, and even entire survey projects can be stored.
When multiple users require access to the same content, user groups become indispensable since users can add or copy content stored in these shared group libraries. In addition to sharing content, users can use groups to mass collaborate on projects by sharing their surveys with a group and having the project automatically shared with all other members.
As the members of the group change, the permissions will update so that once a member is out of the group, they no longer have access to the library or any previously shared projects. Group members and permissions are managed by brand administrators and can be modified at any time to best fit the group’s and organization’s needs.
Take your collaboration efforts to the next level by using User Groups today!
