Hi all.
I have a constant sum question using sliding scales, the answers for which must total 100. The running total is displayed at the bottom of the question. However, since I have a reasonably large number of options, participants can only see the total once they scroll to the bottom.
Is it possible to use Javascript to either 1) replicate the running total so that it can be seen both at the top and bottom of the question, or 2) place the running total to the side of each sliding scale so that it is more easily seen at first glance.
Any suggestions or sample code would be greatly appreciated.
Hello RichardBr you can show the value on side of the slider question by enabling show value:

Unfortunately, I am not referring to the value of the individual sliders, but rather the 'running total' for all sliders. I have a reasonably large number of sliders, therefore the running total displayed at the bottom of the question (with a limit of 100 in my case) is not visible until participants reach the end of the question. Early piloting suggested that participants who were unfamiliar with this question format were initially confused as to why further sliders wouldn't move when they reached the total. It would therefore be useful to edit the positioning of this running total to assist participants in there summing up to 100.
