I have a scale with 30 items. Some are Likert scale statements rated from 1 to 6 (Strongly disagree to Strongly agree) and some are knowledge questions having only 3 options (Yes , no, and don't know).
Is it possible to have a matrix table with items rated on a scale from 1 to 6 mixed in with items assess on a scale 1 to 3. I want to put them all in one matrix table that I could easily randomize all the items.

+25Even if you could I don't why you would want to. A matrix with 30 items is pretty daunting and intimidating to recipients. You are going to likely have some fatigue. I would break it up in to smaller more digestible chunks. You could also do a loop and merge to create your scales quicker. This would also expose your items one at a time instead of all them at once.
