How do you make an answer choice exclusive across statements in a matrix question? | XM Community
Skip to main content

I have a matrix question with multiple scale choices plus an "All". Example: "1 2 3 4 5 All"
If "All" is selected for one statement, can I make that exclusive from the remainder of other the statements?
In other words, if "All" is selected for one, all other answer choices in other statements are blocked.

HI BLURN,
This may not be exactly what trying to do, but maybe Display Logic could be configured in a way where the other statements will be hidden when "All" is selected.

Thanks MatthewM,
I think because I'm using a matrix question format I'll have to find the right code to add as display logic is not an option in the drop down for scale points.
At the same time, I don't want to hide the other choices...would rather have them function like excluded options that are simply not clickable or unchecked if "none" is selected.
Would appreciate if someone had existing code example already handy.
