How to preserve multi-line formatting of piped text in triggered emails | XM Community

I try to read through any previous answers to same/similar questions but coming from non technical background. I just can’t get it to work so apologies in advance.

Issue:

When multi line essays are triggered as email, no formatting is preserved. I saw may threads on using java script but I tried copying and pasting with no avail.

 

Example, in the email sent, it will look like this and is very hard to read:

Ticket type: Service Request Priority: 4 Assignment Group: MM Training Description: BASIC INFO Open on behalf of: Smith, John Contact number for ticket: (222) 333-3333Alternate number: (555) 555-7777 What is happening?: phone is broken department: mall role?: CSN:
 

Would love help with what custom code I can use (assuming the question is Q3) and do I add it to the question java script? or have to create another question. Also, for the email trigger, to I pipe “ ${q://QID3/QuestionText}”?
