Inserting a button showing a pop-up text and keeping track of clicks | XM Community

Dear all,

Honestly, I’m quite new to using Qualtrics. I have question relating to keeping track of respondents clicking a button in the survey, showing a pop-up text (sort of disclaimer).

I inserted the button already, following the instructions in this link: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/1956/insert-a-button-that-gives-a-pop-up-additional-information-window-when-clicked.

I also found some information on tracking clicks on an external link: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/2809/track-whether-a-link-is-clicked-in-qualtrics-even-a-respondent-leaves-for-the-opened-new-page. It doesn’t work when modifying these instructions to clicking a button, instead of an external link.

What is the best way to deal with this, so inserting a button, showing a pop-up text, and tracking respondents' clicks on the button?

I’m very curious to hearing your tips and comments. Thanks!
You may need to consult a freelancer for this type of coding, since you haven't gotten responses on your other requests yet.

I would suggest posting this in the networking and freelancers so you can get some bids on this.
Ok thanks!
