Is there an option for participants to see the percentage of survey they have answered?
The reason we want know if this could be implemented is because we want to inform the participants that they need to answer at least 80% of the survey in order to receive compensation for it. We think it would be fair if the participant could also know what percentage of the survey they answered. We decided to do this because we are worried that participants won't fill out the survey however, would fill out details for compensation. Setting force response is not an option.

Yes something other than the progress bar because the progress bar only shows the participant how far they've come on the survey not how much they've answered.
A simple but tedious implementation would be to put each question in its own block, then in the survey flow, add a branch after each question to update the number of answered questions. This value can be displayed in the header to let the participants know how many they have answered.
Another implementation would be a variation of this, that I had built for a client. It uses requqest responses to ask respondents a reason for not answering the question, which could also be used to count the number of unanswered questions.
