Pipe Answer from Matrix Based on Two Variables

Hello,
My colleagues and I are trying to replicate the following study:
Restrictive Food Intake As A Choice – A Paradigm for StudyWe would like to create three question blocks, where participants rate their food preference on a 1-5 Likert scale. These blocks are Taste, Health, and Choice. In Choice, the participant will rate a neutral item (3 in both Health and Taste) against a list of other foods.


I contacted Qualtrics support and they suggested to use a matrix table, then quickly realized that Qualtrics is not equipped to make backend comparisons to identify the reference food.

Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds for this?
