Putting time limit on blocks with page breaks; advances through questions in the next block

I have searched the community and found this discussion (https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/1730/automatically-end-block-with-page-breaks-after-a-fixed-time-limit) as a way to advance though a block of questions after a set amount of time. My problem is that after I advance out of the block, the survey will briefly show the next questions before automatically moving onto the next question. Any idea on why it keeps advancing even on questions that don't have custom javascript?
