Hi everyone,
After a few weeks learning how to manipulate those questions using JS, I still did not manage to implement a key feature in a experiment that I intend to run, namely randomizing default choices.
More specifically, I ask participants to pick items and either drop them in a group, or simply leave them the the items lists. Moreover, I want to create different conditions that vary the number of already picked items when arriving on the page (which correspond to the default choices options) e.g from 0 to 6 items already picked. However, I want these default choices to be randomized, i.e that the items as well as ther order/rank are random.
I would also like to investigate the same possibility with a Hot Spot question, i.e to randomize the already active regions, i.e from 0 to 6 active regions randomly selected among the possibles regions.
I am guessing the way to do that will be different depending on the questions as I do not notice any default choices mention in the HTML of the pick & rank question.
If anyone has a hunch on how to do that (the priority being pick group & rank), I would incredibly grateful !
Thank you very much & have a great day
