Randomly select a subset of choice while keeping the order from the main set in Qualtrics

Hi there, 

 

I am trying to make a questionnaire where 12 out of 34 choices is to be randomly chosen. However I want the order in which they appear to be the same as their order amid the whole 34. How can I do this?

I know I can use advanced randomization then use a Javascript. What script can I use though to keep the original order and not simply alphabetize them?

Create a JS hidden question with 34 choices and add randomization to show 12 choices. Now simply use this question as question from where carry forward option for other questions.
