I am using radio buttons for a rank order question. My statements/choices for the question get bulky because I'm adding images to them. Thus, I'd like the numbered labels for the radio buttons (outlined in red) to repeat for the bubbles next to each statement/choice.
I know it's possible to repeat these labels on a Matrix or Side-by-Side question, but I only want participants to rank 3 out of my 6 items, and as far as I know, I can't limit the number of statements participants respond to for Matrix or Side-by-Side questions. However, there isn't a built-in repeat labels/header option for rank choice questions using radio buttons. Is there a custom code I can use to resolve this issue?
Edit/Resolved: I figured out how to do what I needed using a Matrix question. I was able to repeat headers using the Matrix question's default option. To have participants "rank" only 3 of the 6 items, I used a 3-point Likert scale, and I changed each column in the Matrix to "Make answer exclusive." I then used custom validation to limit the count of responses to "1" for each column.
