Trouble inserting a game into Qualtrics.

Hello,
I am relatively new at coding in both javascript as well as html so please excuse any errors or further inquiries made by me.
I'm trying to embed html/javascript/css code into a graphic/text question to run a Tower of Hanoi game. Here is a link to the sorted code: https://codepen.io/avery/pen/wWwYqd
I am able to input the html and css code into the question without any issues but when I go to add the javascript it tells me there are errors in the code. I can not identify where my issue lies so any assistance is much appreciated.
