Using HTML in the post survey response email | XM Community

Hi
Can anyone shed any light on how to get Qualtrics to correctly render HTML code?
I'm wanting to use it to populate an automated response for the completion of a survey - something to simply say thank you for filling it in and we'll be in touch. I have the HTML code written, but each time it is put in to the system, the resulting email is simply the code - no images/words.
From asking for help, so far we have come up with that it doesn't render the code correctly.
Can anyone help at all?

Are you making sure that you have pasted the code after clicking Source button on top?

Hope it helps!

Thanks Deepak - unfortunately yes, I have. I've tried doing it both before and after clicking the source button. No joy either way.

I'm not sure I can due to it being in house information, although it would certainly make it easier to get help!

Also, there have been cases when Outlook/Gmail show direct HTML of the email. So, if you would want to check that.
Hope it helps!

Good evening from a dark Sweden!
Is the imagery leading/linking to the Qualtrics Graphics library?
All the best

https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/comment/52654#Comment_52654No, just the messages library - I uploaded the HTML in there and it shows exactly what it should - image and text. I've also tried just building it in the trigger template bit too, just to see if that would make a difference. Again, no joy.

https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/comment/52671#Comment_52671Ok, so you've created the material under the graphics library, and there things are showing the way you want them.
But when you try to insert it into your workflow under the survey project, it does not render and comes out blank/just the code.
Is the Graphics library material and the survey project created using the same Qualtrics user and with the same level of rights and access in Qualtrics?
Have you tried sending a test email to yourself to see what it actually looks like when it comes out the other end? :)
Sorry for the many questions, just trying to troubleshoot mentally :)

Yes to all of your questions!
I have tried many test emails to myself, using different email addresses in case it made a difference.
