CX Dashboards - Can user select the 'Group date by ' option to choose granularity of charts using a | XM Community

Question:
I am hoping that there is an option/feature to enable dashboard users to choose/select the 'Group date by' option that is configurable when a date field is used as the X-Axis Dimension for a Simple Chart. I note that "Trend Chart" is no longer supported so I have not looked at this widget as an option.
Day, Week, Month, Quarter, Six Months, Year and Automatic are the available 'Group Date By' options when editing a chart and when a date field is used as the X-Axis Dimension.
Available workaround:
In looking into this I have noted that if I select 'Automatic' in the 'Group Date By' list and if I add a dashboard filter for the same date field, then the date group level will change to suit the filtered date range (e.g. if 'This month' is selected in the filter, then the group date level will adjust to week).
Desired outcome:
When Simple Charts are configured to "track" results over time I would like the dashboard user to be able to select and change the granularity of the date grouping independent of a date filter.
I've seen the ability to do this in Tableau and Power BI, but hope to leave the response data in Qualtrics and retain the use of CX dashboards.

It's not possible, but would be useful. You should submit this as a new idea.
