Trouble getting a custom date format

Hi everyone, I have a embedded data field with date in the format “YYYY-MM-ddZhh:mm” (example: 2024-04-23T00:00”), and I’m trying to set it this way on Qualtrics dashboard mapping, to use this field as date filter, but not having success.  Also tried different syntax, like with commas (“YYYY-MM-dd,Z,hh:mm”), and other changes, none worked so far.  Any tips to help? Thank you all!

Dashboard Union

Hi,Qualtrics union doesn’t bring in data from both sources, it only brings in the similar fields and the rest have to be manually mapped. Is that the intended functionality? Shouldn’t union bring in all the data and just place the non similar fields as unmapped?

Reflecting 2 sources on a dashboard each with different dates applied

Hello everyone, I have 2 sources( surveys) that i want to reflect on the same dashboard, the problem is that each have a distinct time frame that needs to be applied. I figure that can be done from the advanced filters but i need some guidance.

How to append new data in an Imported Data Project?

The imported data project type is a really helpful tool to be able to report on operational data through CX Dashboards. However, I have several use cases where new data will need to be added to the project. I have tried using the Re-import Data feature by exporting the data set and appending the new data to the export and re-importing the data but have not had success getting the data to successfully upload.I end up having to scrap the project and build a survey project which guarantees the ability to import operational data while also being able to add new data without having to re-map the dataset in the CX dashboard every time I need to update.Anyone have success with appending new data to an Imported Data project? Any tips?

Filter dashboard by drill down results

I have a survey that utilizes a drill down question to collect information and I would like to be able to filter the dashboard by those drill down results. However, when I try to add a drill down question as a filter it treats it as a number and doesn't pull the answer choices. Is this not possible?

Text iQ on dashboard: How to exclude incomplete survey responses?

Dear XM Community,When I was setting up Text iQ on my dashboard, I noticed that incomplete survey responses were also included in the analysis. I would very much appreciate it if anyone could advise me how to filter only completed responses (Survey Metadata “Finished = Yes”) to be analyzed. Thank you for your help in advance.Miho

Issue with Translation Reversion in CX Dashboards

Hi! We utilize a dashboard template for creating new dashboards within Qualtrics CX. This template consists of numerous pages and widgets, and I have translated it into Dutch by switching my account settings from English to Dutch.The problem arises when I make a copy of the template. Text that was originally in Dutch reverts back to English. This issue has occurred previously, and although I have ensured that the template is correctly translated in both Dutch and English versions, when making a copy, various widgets display text in English despite my platform settings being in Dutch.It seems that the reversion may be related to text modifications made on the front end rather than within the translation file. Strangely, exporting the labels from the correctly translated template results in them appearing correctly in the Excel file. However, when making a copy of the template, the first page defaults to English. Importing the Excel file of the template doesn't resolve this issue.I need

Download with Filters Applied

Anyone know a work around for this horrible feature? I have to download page by page by page to keep my filters applied. Why have an ability to filter and export all pages if the filters don't hold? Downloading Dashboard PagesDashboard exports generally respect the default filters set for the dashboard, unless you have adjusted the filters. The page you export will respect any filters you currently have applied instead of the filters set as the default. If you are exporting multiple pages of the dashboard, only the page you’re currently on will respect filters you currently have applied; otherwise, the additional pages of the export will revert to the default filters for the page.

Automation of user creation and Dashboard access based on variable

I'm looking for a way to atomatize the import and rights attribution for a large set of Qualtrics users. I have a global survey that collects data for 200 stores and a Dashboard with all the results I have list of 200 email addreses that each should get a user account All these users should only be able to see the Dashboard, not access the rest of the XM Platform Each user is linked to a particular store, and should see only the data filtered for that storeHow do I do this without manually adding each user and limiting their rights? This is what I have:Use the Adding, Importing, & Exporting Users feature to upload a CSV or TSV file with the email addresses of the users  Use the User, Group, & Division Permissions feature to assign roles and permissions to the users. Restrict their access to only the dashboard and not the rest of the XM Platform. 12-Hr Time with CX Dashboard Date

Our API brings in an embedded date field as the following: 04/01/2024 03:30 PM. But I cannot figure out which date format I should use to ensure that “invalid date” does not appear in the response ticker widget. The date is the date of their admission ticket, which is what my teams would like to see in their daily report send from the dashboard. This helps them recognize when an issue might have occurred for the experience.

Help with filters on dashboards

Hi community,  I am creating a graph that is using a question as a filter. The graph is displaying the different benefits. Let’s say we have 100 responses. The question we are using as a filter is about gender. Let’s say we have 50 responses.  when i create the graph and filter it by gender. I only see the 50 responses. How can i also show the responses where we don’t have gender?  Thank you!

Displaying a grid question in Dashboard

I have a survey with several grid questions and I would like to be able to display the responses in one table, more or less the same as the grid looks in the survey (statements in rows, options in columns, answers as %) I have tried all the table options within dashboard and can’t seem to make any of them work in the way that I would like.  The only option I have at the moment is to show them as individual charts, one per statement, which is rather tedious. Does anyone have the knowledge I seek? Thanks in advance!

Honest opinion about Dashboards

I’ve been working in Dashboards for 3 months. After creating 3 dashboards, I see many technical limitations of this platform, and finding it hard to justify the time/cost/effort for broader implementation. We’ve already paid for the expanded license, so I’m more or less stuck with making it work as best I can.  However, I’m curious what others think of it, and if anyone has been able to successfully implement it for their organization. Besides it being painfully clunky and slow, one of my biggest pain points is not being able to configure a 1-time benchmark using a custom metric calculation. The only workaround is manually entering it into the benchmark interface.  Which leads to pain-point #2….it’s not possible to manually enter a new benchmark row under an existing benchmark which severely limits how I can use benchmarks. For example, say I calculated a custom metric and I want it to fall under an existing benchmark (Benchmark A). I’m forced to create brand new benchmark (Benchmark A

Filtering a dashboard with widget from multiple sources

Hello Everyone,I have a dashboard that displaysWidgets that shows stats using the Respondent funnel data source for things like the number of email sent, number of finished surveys and stuff like that another Widget that shows information from the embedded data fields and the last widget which is a line graph for the survey questions.Issue: i have a dashboard filter which is an embedded data field to filter all the widgets but the  Respondent funnel data widgets error out when i apply any filter to the dashboard. Support just told me that the Respondent funnel data source does not have the embedded data so it will not work.Does anyone know how to get information about the number of email sent, survey started and survey finished from the embedded data source?Thanks

Filters on dashboard not populating options to select

Hello Everyone,I added some filters to my dashboard but they do not auto populate a list of options when i click the dropdown arrow. it just shows my a search textbox.. These fields are Embedded Data fields. I do not want to search the filter field, i just want to select from a list of options in that field. Dashboard Visualization of Side by Side Question Type

I need to create a CX Dashboard visualization of data collected as part of hand hygiene rounding in a side by side question type. The question has the opportunity for auditors to provide up to 5 observations at a time (we don’t always have data for all 5 observations). Each observation has a rating of compliant or non-compliant and the role of the associated individual for each observation (e.g., compliant nursing staff member who washed hands after interacting with a patient). The role dropdown includes a set of 6 different role options. Here’s how the questions is built: In an ideal world, we would like to have a compliance rating by role calculated across all observations for a specific domain (e.g., After interacting with patient/client), but I can’t seem to figure out how to do that. I’ve calculated compliance ratings in aggregate across all observations, but don’t know how to fold in breaking down the aggregate compliance ratings by role. Does anyone have any suggestions on what

Adjust Highlight Reel Widget

Is there a way to adjust how the highlight reel widget displays in the dashboard?The video player is quite large and not dynamic / not responsive to the size of the widget which makes it difficult to view.

Adding Not Applicable responses after initial setup of dashboard without them

I created a matrix table in my dashboard and did not map the N/A responses but see that the percentages do not add to 100 without them so would like to add it now. How do I do this without deleting and recreating the matrix table?

Average of subset of questions only in a widget

Hi, I want a widget on a dashboard which displays the responses of 5 question related to activities perform by students (q35_1 to q35_5). Those responses are numeric and they represent number of hours spend by students for each activity (if the students spends time on it otherwise it left blank). I am trying to display the total average of those 5 questions (sum of 5 questions / count of responses of all those 5 questions).I tried to use custom metrics but the metrics is not to display data (can’t be use as a value). If anyone knows  how to build a widget to display the total average of 5 questions all combined please let me know.

CSAT widget breakdown bar, pulling multiple questions into 1 widget

I have 8 separate CSAT questions that I would like to display a breakdown down for each of the questions but I cannot figure out how to get them all into a single widget rather than 8 individual widgets. Below is an example but rather than displaying the historical years I would like each row to reflect a specific CSAT question (ie. Q1= how satisfied are you with the appearance of our chocolate, Q2=how satisfied are you with the variety of chocolate offered, etc...)

Text iQ, multiple open text fields

We have an NPS question followed by 1 of 2 free text questions - if they give us a promoter nps they see an open text called “What is the primary rating behind your rating,” if they rate as nps passives or detractors then the get the question “What can we do to improve?” I have them each represented in seperate widgets, as shown below, as you can only select 1 question text iq per widget. Well since the questions are displayed as promoters it’s clear that most of the comments are going to have a positive sentiment, and the opposite is true. I’m wanting to find a way to pull these 2 widgets together as I ran the same topics on each question, that way we could see a more wholistic view. I haven’t been able to find a way to do this within Qualtrics but I’m wondering if anyone has any out of the box solutions.
