Combining Essay Box Survey Content to Dashboards and Reports

Hi everyone,This is a question that will likely require to different implementations.I have text box / essay box questions within my survey that I’d like to combine into my Dashboard Reports, and the Survey Reports. Reason - I want to output the full guest survey result as one row of output. I know in survey flow you can create Embedded Data and combine piped text, but the formatting is limited for output. I’ve tried extra spaces, multiple <br> elements, and the combined text is still a run on of results, rather than paragraph breaks.This combined information is more important for the Survey / Reports, as I want to be able to combine each individual survey submission to start with the survey submission first name, then date, then the 3 open text fields, so that it is easier for our Guest Services team to see the submissions via a weekly automated report.Hope this makes sense. Any help/suggestions is much appreciated.Thanks,Aaron

Combining all verbatim feedback

We would like to combine all our verbatim feedback from 20+ surveys across approx 5 questions into one big text feedback data set. The idea behind this is that people could come and search for keywords for projects they are working on to see if any customer feedback relates to this keyword.  Any ideas on how to do this?  I can’t do via embedded data as our survey program has been running for many years, so we are looking for a solution for a very large dataset across multiple surveys. Hopefully via dashboards.

Display or link to entire survey response from textIQ / response ticker

Our frontline team followup on feedback received from customers.In our dashboards they can see text responses in response tickers.Sometimes there is a need to follow up on feedback from the dashboard.Is there a way to open a respondents full response from the response ticker? or another widget? Currently we have to search in the data and analytics tab for the response which is a bit of double handling. Thanks!

Exporting dashboard and importing to another Qualtrics Brand

Hi - we just opened a 2nd individual brand for my company. I’ve exported and imported the surveys, but I’m not seeing a way to do the same for a dashboard - I know I would have to remap everything, but it would be nice to at least have the basic widgets and pages already set up so that I wasn’t having to build 100% from scratch.

Adding metadata to provide access based on an embedded field in CX dashboard

I have a dashboard which has 2 surveys as source.There are few fields like Sales Area and Portfolio based on which access is controlled in dashboard.I want to now add a new field LB so that when I create a role, I can select that field and provide access based on that.How can I do it ? Thanks in advance.

Share CX dashboard

Is there a way to share a CX dashboard with EVERYONE in the org (basically everyone who has an active Qualtrics account in the company) without having to manually add them in?

Email Dashboard csv stopped getting all record details

Hi,I'm very new to Qualtrics so would really appreciate some help figuring out this. I had a weekly schedule Email Dashboard that would send all survey record details (responses) in csv format. Has been working for months.Just yesterday, it no longer provided all the record details but just aggregated numbers (overview) of the dashboard. The dashboard is aggregated numbers, however, the dashboard itself has not changed at all.From the dashboard itself, if I Export-Download dashboard, select csv then I do get the details. So, why the Email Dashboard changed behaviour? I don't know if something changed with the system configuration, setting or is it a Qualtrics upgrade to cause this change? Any ideas?Thank you so much.

Error Message Appearing on multiple CX Dashboard Widgets

Hi everyone,First time poster on this forum and a very novice user of Qualtrics.Over the last month, my CX dashboard has been displaying a “An unexpected error has occurred.” message on some of our widgets, such as a number chart widget we have to display the # of completed surveys and vertical bar widget showing the distribution of 0-10 rating scale. Some other widgets are displaying properly, such as simple charts. When I attempt to even edit the error widgets, the same error message will also appear on the window which does not allow me to even see what metrics I’ve chosen for that specific widget (see image below).All of the data going into this dashboard is owned by the same Brand Administrator and there is only one data source for each dashboard. Has anyone experienced this before and were able to fix it? I have reached out to the Qualtrics Support Team but I still have not received a solution over the past month. Thank you so much in advance!

Dynamic date stamp on dashboards

Hi there, I've been asked to add a date stamp to recurring reports, for example "Data from xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx" but I see no widget that can do this, nor dynamic text that can be inserted.Is there any way? If no, how can I request this feature?Thanks all in advance.

Optimal Settings for PDF dashboard export

Hi everyone,We sometimes need to export dashboards to pdf. As you might know, the default settings aren’t ideal for visibility, so we try out different settings that look better. However, we haven’t yet landed on an optimal setting config.Do you have any suggestions to optimise export settings (e.g. combination of paper size, orientation, zoom)? Show survey performance / response rate per question

Hello,I am trying to build a dashboard page to track the performance of my survey.I want to show total responses per question so we can easily track drop off. I can see there is a “count” field for each question, but I cant figure out how to only display the number of responses per question in a widget.Not sure if its filters or something else?

Refreshing data in dashboard

I have created an XM dashboard from two mapped data sources. One of the widgets I created is pulling in inaccurate data due to incorrectly coded values on the survey. I recoded the values and re-published the survey but the data is still not pulling in correctly. There are no options to manually refresh the data dashboard that I can see. How can I update my widget to pull in the correctly recoded data?

Response Ticker date to show actual date instead of X days/hours ago

Hi,I have a response ticker in CX dashboard with one of the content being End date (Survey meta data).Instead of showing actual date, it shows X days/hours ago.Is there any way to do it ?I checked in Dashboard data , there is no recode setting to set the format.Any other way out ?

Need Help with Dashboard Filters – Data Not Displaying as Expected

Hi Team,We’ve built two dashboards using the default directory list, which includes data for both dashboards. To separate the data between the two, we’re using an external data reference as a filter: Entries with "CV" are meant for Dashboard 1 Entries with "TR" are meant for Dashboard 2 To set this up, we used advanced filters with prefix matching. But we’re noticing that the dashboards aren’t showing the expected number of responses.Here’s what we’re seeing: For “CV,” there are about 8,000 records in the directory list, but Dashboard 1 only shows 70. For “TR,” we have around 5,000 records in the directory list, yet Dashboard 2 only displays 149. We’re wondering if there are any known limitations with prefix matching in the advanced filters that could be causing this issue.It would be great if you could help us understand: Whether prefix matching is fully supported in this context If there are any restrictions or best practices we should be aware of What we can do to make sure

Is there a way to hide empty quarters in the line chart widget when there is no data?

Hello,I would like to hide Q4 and Q1 2025 in the following graph, as they do not contain any data.I used the response threshold, but it only caused the graph to go through those quarters.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Download of CX dashboard does not show all content in Pivot table.

Hi,We have a CX dashboard which uses Pivot table (No longer supported by Qualtrics). When we download the dashboard, it doesn’t show the entire content (that can be seen after scrolling down)  in the downloaded pdf.I tried using other tables like Record table which doesnt have feature like decimal place for numbers, End date grouped by Month year.How can we ensure that the pivot table shows entire data ?Thanks. Regards,Neha

Dashboard | Apply weighting system per waves and different per 'country' (embedded data)

Hey Qualtrics team,I'm working with a Dashboard for a Brand Tracker survey and want to apply a weight system.With regards to this weight system, some comments:It should be applied per waves It also be applied based on 2 main different questions: Gender (question Gender) and Age groups (variable CV_00_AgeGroups). For some countries other questions can be applied: question 'City-suburb' and 'City of Residence' for those countries where we're requesting responses of people coming from different cities. These questions should be applied independently, i.e. not combined as we don't know the exact percentage of these combinations, for instance male of 18-34 years in Berlin. As described above, I want to apply different weights for the different countries we work with in this project (embedded data: 'country').In the screenshots attached below, I've detailed an example of the weights that we want to apply for Germany (DE) and United Kingdom (UK). We want to do a similar exercise for the rest

Dashboard Alerts

What are your favorite Workflows that you have created to alert you that your data in your dashboard is being wonky? We have a few APIs coming into our Qualtrics, and every once in a while, something will fail, and I would rather the system tell me instead of a user who hasn’t reviewed the dashboard in a few weeks. Any suggestions?

Replicating Drivers Analysis in Excel

Hi,We would like to show the drivers analysis of Qualtrics in POWER BI.Since there is no feature of embedding the Qualtrics widget in POWER BI, we were trying to see if we can build similar logic in excel.We tried using PEARSON’s formula of excel to do so.However, we are stuck in one point. We would like to know how does it calculate the average for the Performance axis.If someone has already done it, kindly help. Also, if you know any other solution to get it into POWER BI, please suggest.Thanks.  Regards,Neha Tank

Dashboard edit, minimal editing abilities.

I would like to give a CX dashboard user the ability to create their own bucketing filters, but do not want to allow for any other dashboard edits from them. Is there a way to restrict what they can edit? To the best of my knowledge editing is an all or nothing feature.

Participant list with survey link displayed in dashboard

My org is asking for a list of contacts, specifically those who have not completed the survey, along with their individual survey link (we are using embedded data on the contacts), and they would like it served to them in a dashboard where leaders can use page filters to find their contacts and then access the corresponding survey link - this way they can self-serve their curated lists and it’s always up to date (as opposed to me exporting the distribution list).

Date format YYYY in Record Table
