Delay updating Funnel information | XM Community

Hi! Hope you are doing great!

I have configured the Funnel Report into different Dashboard in order to track the response rate from different surveys. I have done a few tests sending me the surveys before sending it officially so the information from the funnel is kind of mixed.

I´ve deleted one or two distributions in order to see if  that affected to the total number but I still haven´t seen the change. Is there a delay in the update from the funnel information or once a distribution has been made there is no way of deleting the information from the funnel?

Thanks!

The numbers should change because it deletes all the details related to that distribution. It might take time to reflect.

My answer would be “all of the above”.

I’ve been told in the past that deleting a distribution from a survey does not delete its history from Respondent Funnel. So for all testing, I make a copy of a survey in order to test distributions so my Respondent funnel reporting is not impacted.

But there is also a delay…. It takes hours if not a full day for me to sometimes see full details of recent distributions.

Hi @JoacoCarsana ,

You could also use the record date filter to remove(filter out) the records that were done during testing period.

Adding to what is described here, I have 3 different issues with reporting the number of survey completes:

  1. Survey data and analysis tab, as well as results report has the highest number
  2. Respondent funnel has a lower number
  3. Dashboard project has lowest number

I am not aware of any filters on the data. I have been checking if there is a time delay, but with a weekend that has passed with no new responses, I cannot explain / defend to the bosses why Qualtrics has 3 completion numbers.

An update… Thanks to the help of our technical partner, some issue was picked up with filters. Now all the dashboards are in sync. Only the respondent funnel updates slower. Progress!!
