Number Chart widget (CX) does not filter the rest of dashboard | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hi Qualtrics experts,

I’ve recently introduced a ‘Number widget’ to show a percentage of ‘Promoters’, ‘Passives’ and ‘Detractors’.

I would like that dashboards users can filter the page by clicking in the percentage, for instance, if the clic on te ‘46’1%’, then the rest of the dashboard page will be automatically filtered by these customers.

The problem is that althought I have clicked in the option when creating the dashboards, it’s not working properly. As you can see I’ve created this percentage a as ‘Box’ set:

What is happening so when I click on the percentage rest of the tab is not correctly filtered?

Thanks for your help!

I am not sure how we can acheive the click to filter functionaility on a number chart which shows Detractors. But the reason it is not working in the current setup is beacuse we don’t have filters on the number chart widget. Don’t consider ‘Box set’ as a filter.

Thanks @Shashi,

So it means the ‘Number Chart Widget’ cannot filter the rest of the dashboard page, is that correct? Why the message ‘When you select...’ is displayed if it does not work?

If we add a filter on the number chart, then that filter will be added to the page (entire dashboard). Right now in the image we don’t have any filters.

Thanks for your reply @Shashi

Is there a way to show there the % of Detractors so when clicking on this ‘Number Chart Widget’ then this filter (‘detractors’ interviews) will be added to the page (entire dashboard)? I’ve done the same with the count of detractors (widget metric set as ‘Count’) but I do not know how show the % of Detractors over the total of customers.

Thanks!
