Topic: Generating Test Responses

It’s easy to get excited about distributing a newly created survey and overlook the testing phase, however, this excitement and lack of testing can unfortunately lead to negative survey experiences and subpar data collection.

To help mitigate this poor survey experience, you can generate test responses before sending out your survey to ensure that your survey is acting and collecting data exactly as expected. There’s no need to be careful when choosing the number of test responses you wish to generate since the responses generated through this feature do not count toward any response limit on your license! While there are some limitations such as custom validation and certain question types not being compatible,  overall, test data is easily distinguishable in the Data & Analysis tab, helps find errors that might be missed through manual testing, and allows you to have a peace of mind when distributing your most important surveys.

Stop sending faulty logic surveys and start generating test responses today!

Question of the Day: Do you typically generate test responses when testing out your survey? Why or why not? If you don’t, what are some other checks you do before distributing your survey?
