Topic: Survey Response Workflows

While it may seem like a simple feature, the survey response event adds even more functionality to workflows by firing for newly created survey responses and responses updated via the Qualtrics API. The customization doesn’t stop there because this event allows for conditions based on information like embedded data, quotas, response statuses, and more to define when a task should be triggered.

This event is even more useful if you’re mainly distributing surveys with multiple translations since it allows you to specify which language you want to process response data in. Use cases for these workflows range from receiving a notification each time a response with certain conditions is received to immediately sending response summaries in the language that the respondent took the survey in or one of the languages the survey is already translated into.

Enhance your workflows by triggering different tasks when new responses are collected today!

Where to find this feature:

  1. Go to your Survey.
  2. Go to the Workflows tab.
  3. Select Create a workflow.
  4. Choose Started when an event is received.
  5. Choose the Survey response event.
