I'm worried that I made a terrible error. Usually when I make surveys, I do questions that answer on a sliding likert scale of 1-5, so that I can get numerical averages from my score. But for this particular survey, I accidentally did questions on a scale of:
Strongly Disagree - Disagree- Neither Disagree or Agree - Agree - Strongly Agree
Is there a way I can easily assign scale 1-5 numbers to these when I do my analysis or do I have to do that manually? Is there a better way to analyze Strongly Disagree- Strongly Agree questions?

You can either Score the values: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/scoring/
Or recode them: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/question-options/recode-values/
Depending on the use case
