Optimal Settings for PDF dashboard export

Hi everyone,We sometimes need to export dashboards to pdf. As you might know, the default settings aren’t ideal for visibility, so we try out different settings that look better. However, we haven’t yet landed on an optimal setting config.Do you have any suggestions to optimise export settings (e.g. combination of paper size, orientation, zoom)? multi-course assessement structure

we run about 21 different courses on Brightspace. I’d like to set up one survey that will offer up different blocks of questions depending upon which course they’ve just completed.we either embed the Qualtrics at the end of the course or could automate a link to be sent.whilst we could of course ask what course they’ve just done, I am wondering if the distribution link can be used as a proxy for that information.ie multiple distribtion links that go to the same survey, but the link itself sets some of the survey parameters?currently we have one survey for each course, which is a complete pain! difficult to know where to start- any pointers appredciated :)

2 language survey: how to change language drop down to a simple button?

Hello,I have a simple 2 language survey (EN / AR) and was wondering if it was possible to replace the language drop-down by a button?Such that if the respondent is answering the EN survey instead of showing "English" in the language drop-down it would directly state "عربي" and when the user clicks on it he is immediately redirected to the AR survey. Is this possible?Otherwise, would it be possible to show the other language as default in the drop-down? So, if the respondent is answering the EN survey the language drop-down would show "عربي" instead of English...Thanks a lot!Ila

survey looks good when previewing within the block but weird when previewing the full survey,

Hi, I made a simple worlde game within Qualtrics. Question 1: When I preview the game part by click preview within the block, it looks as expected, but when I preview the whole survey, it lost all the interactions.Question 2: after the game, i created a button to proceed participants to finish the survey questions. this time it is the opposite: full preview looks fine but block preview does not work...

Do not allow decimals in text field response

How do I restrict so that whole numbers only and not decimals are allowed?  I thought entering 0 in Max Decimals under validation would work, but apparently not. Also, in other form fields where I have custom validation I cannot ALSO add validation to require a whole number, or at least it doesn’t seem like I can.  Seems like I am limited to one set of validation logic?  We have logic to require a value greater than that answered in a prior question and there isn’t a way to add a content validation on top of that.

Where to capture Embedded Data

I want to show a survey to a certain segment of my audience where each member of that segment has a customer id number. I want to capture that customer id number (CID) so that I can personally respond to the clients who answer the survey in a certain way. Do I add the Embedded Data capture as a block in the survey flow? Or should I add it as part of the Action Set in the Intercept?

Reverse Autheneticator - prevent multiple responses from the same participant using their mail in anonymous surbey.

I have a survey built which will be going out via anonymous link. We will not be collecting any identifiable data. Because the survey will be distributed by many participating organizations - we know that there will likely be overlap in respondents. To prevent duplicate responses - we are working on setting up an email authenticator which (when programmed correctly) will ask for an email - add that email to a directory through workflow at the completion of the survey and then use that directory as a source for the authenticator - not allowing someone who has been added to the directory (by completing the survey) to start the survey again.However - the survey currently is not allowing anyone to move past the email input - immediately displaying a ‘Unable to log in with the information provided.’ error message (even in incognito mode). I checked the directory and it is not adding emails there either. Please help!-Marta

Public link to new results tab pages?

Currently there is an option in the old version of Results to create a public link to a results report to share. I see the option on the new Results tab to send an email with a page that includes a link to the dashboard. I don’t think that link is public (or maybe I’m wrong). Does anyone know if there is a way in the new Results to create public links to dashboards?  Thanks.

Has anyone build a survey as a Schedule template to schedule appointments or import data from a scheduling source? If so, please share information.

Client is using Qualtrics.  However, they use other source to schedule diabetic classes.  Client would like to import scheduling data into Qualtrics.

Data and Analysis Field Missing

I recently added a new embedded data field to a survey in use. I checked my dataset to make sure I have this included. I added a column in my data and analysis tab for the “wellrive branch” as shown here but it does not seem to be pulling this into the results. How can I fix this?

Error Message Appearing on multiple CX Dashboard Widgets

Hi everyone,First time poster on this forum and a very novice user of Qualtrics.Over the last month, my CX dashboard has been displaying a “An unexpected error has occurred.” message on some of our widgets, such as a number chart widget we have to display the # of completed surveys and vertical bar widget showing the distribution of 0-10 rating scale. Some other widgets are displaying properly, such as simple charts. When I attempt to even edit the error widgets, the same error message will also appear on the window which does not allow me to even see what metrics I’ve chosen for that specific widget (see image below).All of the data going into this dashboard is owned by the same Brand Administrator and there is only one data source for each dashboard. Has anyone experienced this before and were able to fix it? I have reached out to the Qualtrics Support Team but I still have not received a solution over the past month. Thank you so much in advance!

Qualtrics and Canvas?

Has anyone connected Qualtrics and Canvas successfully? If so - how? What are you doing with it? Was your solution easy to set up or did it require a lot of support from IT?We are looking in to connecting Qualtrics and Canvas to be able to control access and pass name/email between the two applications. It's a pretty simple use case, overall, but we don't know how to connect them.Searching this forum, it seems all existing discussions are years old, homebrew code, or posted by the folks that created the branded Drieam integration (which possibly is fantastic but I can't find any discussion one way or another).Any information anyone can share would be really helpful. Thank you!

How to Get Original Answers and Total Correct Score in One Export

QUESTION:We want to calculate the total number of correct answers by recoding responses as 1 for correct and 0 for incorrect. But is there a way to still keep the participants’ original responses too, not just the recoded scores? We know that in Excel, we can download either the recoded values or the original answer labels, but we’re trying to avoid managing two separate downloads. For the rest of our data, we use participants’ actual answers, so we’re hoping there’s a way to get both the original responses and the sum of correct answers in one export. Is that possible?

Randomization without Replacement Troubleshooting

Hi there, I am having a good amount of trouble trying to set up randomization without replacement on a survey. I have six conditions, and I need every participant to be in two, but to not go through the first one twice. I know this could be completed under one randomizer, but I need every participant to answer the same question block after completing the first condition, so they have to come out of the randomizer to complete that.I know that people have asked questions related to this in the past, and I have read those question threads and tried to implement the solutions, and although it looks like it is set up correctly, I am running into problems. Currently, it seems as though it is working, in that my test run-throughs have not been giving me the same condition twice. However, the embedded data columns are printing out empty in the exported data, and the flow IDs (which I require) are all messed up, leading me to believe something must be wrong. I need access to either the flow IDs

A calendar question that allows multiple date selections up to X number of dates?

Is there any question to import that is a calendar that allows date selection for up to a certain number of days?I'd need people to be able to select up to but no more than 6 questions.I checked the import question from library option and then I searched for Calendar but those options didn't look like a calendar (see screenshot)This is for an EE project if that matters. Creating a 'Sign In" survey for program/event participants to fill everytime they attend. Can I use a membership number to populate the rest of the survey and speed up sign in?

Hi, Like the title suggests, we use Qualtrics to collect client demographics. Currently we have no way for clients to quickly sign in if they are a member. I’m trying to streamline their arrival by designing a “self sign-in” survey where they are prompted to add their membership code and then their demographics are automatically fill the rest of the survey questions. I’ve gotten as far as creating a contact list and using an authenticator in the survey flow but it is problematic when I try put the pipe text into the answer field. Right now it will only accept it into the question line. When I go through the survey as a test, the answer will be in the question line rather than the answer box. Help!

Real-time monitoring of completion status

HiI have 10 interviewers conducting interviews with participants. Participants are asked to complete a survey on an iPad. Once the survey is completed, they receive a token of appreciation.However, there are occasions where the survey is incomplete due to various reasons, but participants may still claim that they have finished it. To avoid this, interviewers prefer to verify the completion status before handing out the token.While the "Survey Completed" message at the end helps, there's no way to confirm completion if the participant closes the browser tab. Additionally, the online shared report has limitations because it does not support filtering by Respondent ID, which makes it difficult to check individual completion statuses efficiently.I wish to seek some possible solutions from the community please as the interviewers do not have Qualtrics accounts but need to check the survey completion status in real time. Thank youBY
