!
This message only applies if you have access to Classic Reports, also referred to as Reporting Beta, Original Printed Reports, and Reporting 2.0. Over the last 24 months, we’ve been working hard to develop an improved reporting experience. The new Reports experience is currently available to all of our customers and offers a number of benefits. You can find more information about it on this support page.
With the general availability of new Reports, we are deprecating Classic Reports, and it will be removed from the platform on June 30th, 2020.
After June 30th, 2020, you will lose access to any reports which were created with Classic Reports, including scheduled emails and public reports. We encourage you to rebuild reports on the new Reports platform and to download a PDF copy of existing reports you wish to keep.
If you have a question about the newest version of Reports, please visit the support pages for Advanced Reports. It’s also always worth checking here, in the community, to see if any other users have had the same question about this change. If you’d rather speak to a specialist, our Support Team is always ready to assist. To contact them, please log into your Support Portal.
It's very possible you've never had Classic Reports; most customers only have the new-and-improved reporting systems like results and advanced-reports.
So disappointing!
We didn't receive an email about this until April 8, and I missed the post in this forum. We received no communication about this before the email, and I have to figure out how to notify all of our users of this change. Are individual users receiving any sort of email from Qualtrics, or is there a notification in the app about this change? I will contact our Customer Success Rep to see what other steps we need to take.
So it's pushed off to October? How will users using Classic reports be notified? how will they be able to find out if they are using the functionality?
Hi mklubeck! Classic reports are being deprecated in waves. We are now in Wave 2, which ends October 31st. Relevant Brand Admins will receive an email and affected users will receive an in-product notification when their wave starts. Relevant users will receive notification when their wave starts.
I just spoke with Customer Service who has always been so incredibly helpful in the past. The data that I used to download in Classic Reports is no longer downloadable. This means that Qualtrics has become unusable for me. What good is asking for data if you can no longer download it into a format that you can use? I assumed the new reporting would at least replicate the functionality of classic reports but that has not turned out to be the case. Please restore classic reports until the new reporting has at least the same level of functionality to pull the results in the formats needed.
Can all the users view the "Classic report" or is it just the Brand Admin?
I have hundreds of users to manage so I don't have the bandwidth to check if for each survey "Classic reports" were created and perform the migration.
LeslieB I've been told by Q-Support that the multiple warnings/reminders I received about the depracation of Classic Reports was also sent to each user that had used Classic Reports. I'm hoping that's true. otherwise I expect I'll get a few cases where the user is wondering why their report is no longer working. Then again, since a lot of people don't read their emails, I may still get some.
mklubeck Thanks for the information ️
I can't believe Qualtrics is removing the Classic Reports from their platform without adding the functionality to quickly export the aggregated results into Excel (I have confirmed this with their support team). This seems like a HUGE miss on Qualtrics' part. Unfortunately I am going to have to move our organization to another platform due to this oversight after 9 years, which is a shame because we were actually looking to ramp up our business with them.
https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/21932#Comment_21932I keep getting these emails multiple times:
"You are receiving this email because you are either a Brand Administrator for your organization’s Qualtrics account or you have accessed Classic Reports in the last 12 months. This is a reminder regarding the upcoming deprecation of Classic Reports and upgrade to the Advanced Reports experience."
So I am still concerned that I do have classic reports somehow somewhere :s how can I be sure?
Hi JoycaV ! These emails are going out to two different people: users who actively use classic reports, and brand admins for licenses that still have those active users. So it's possible you may not have these reports if you are a brand admin.
One way to check whether a survey has classic reports in it by going to Reports -> Reports -> the dropdown that shows the names of reports -> and look for the "View Classic Reports" option in the dropdown, as displayed in the screenshot.
For additional questions, I'd recommend reaching out to the support team or your Customer Success Representative.
Can I get clarification, please. Is ONLY the classic report going away? OR, is the survey that it includes going away as well?
MattLambdin Only the report is going away. Your survey and the data collected and everything else will remain.
Thank you. Have a good day!
