Released On Or Before June 5, 2024
CX Dashboards
- Data Models (CX): Data models now support derived data (such as custom fields and scoring categories).
Dashboards
- Custom “From” Address for Full Record Views: Some CX widgets allow you to send emails when viewing a full response record. If your brand has a custom from address, this email will send from your brand’s address. This update affects the record grid, record table, and response ticker widgets.
EX
- EX Engagement Benchmark: The EX Engagement benchmark uses a 3-year rolling average to calculate scores. This benchmark has been updated with data from 2021-2023 from 27 million respondents and can be added to your dashboard now using the dashboard benchmark editor.
- Microsoft Teams Distributions (EX): You can now send Engagement and Ad Hoc Employee Research survey invitations and reminders via Microsoft Teams.
Extensions
- Adobe Analytics Extension: To support Adobe’s deprecation of Service Account (JWT) authentication, you can now use OAuth authentication for the Adobe Analytics extension. Existing JWT connections will be supported through the end of 2024.
- Location Directory: The Location Directory can now be accessed from the Directories tab within the Global Navigation menu. It is also still linked when you create a location selector question or when you create a reputation management project based on searching the web.
Notifications
- Types of Notifications: A new notification has been added to the “Admin” notification. Brand Administrators and users with access to Digital Experience Analytics will now be notified when their license’s session replay usage hits thresholds of 25%, 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100%.
Survey Projects
- Response Clarity Validation: New validation option for text entry questions. When enabled, response clarity validation uses Qualtrics internal large language model to analyze a survey respondent’s answer and prompts them to provide more details if their response is vague or doesn’t fully answer the question.
Website / App Insights
- Linking Website / App Insights Projects with XM Directory: Intercepts within Website / App Insights projects can now only be linked to a single directory. Projects previously linked to multiple directories have been moved to a single directory.
Workflows
- Extract Data From SFTP Task: A new option, “Use strict validation,” has been added to automatically reject misconfigured files.
XM Platform
- Manager Assist: Manager Assist will be enabled by default for all brands created after May 13, 2024. Brands created before this date will have to activate Manager Assist for it to be visible.
- Audio & Video Editor Library: The audio & video editor now contains a data table with all audio and video responses. Also, the sentiment, transcript, and clip functionalities have been updated.
Starting On & After June 12, 2024

- AI Recommended Segments: The Segments tab within XM Directory will now suggest Ai-generated segments. These segments leverage artificial intelligence to evaluate your existing XM Directory data and automatically create industry-specific segments.
