I have a repeated problem of needing to come up with nicer names for the columns of surveys. I would be able to write some nice software to accomplish this if I were able to accurately know what the columns will come from an export of the responses. The exportColumnMap that comes from this API call seems like it wants to do the job but is inaccurate.
Examples:
- If you have a radio with text entry options, the choice numbers appear in the actual export but not the exportColumnMap
- exportColumnMap lists text box questions when these are not actually exported
- Questions in a block with loop and merge are listed differently in CSV, TSV, SPSS, exports as well as from the exportColumnMap
Anyone have a method of resolving this already figured out?
Any chance Qualtrics will fix this?
