Metadata - does it exist
In our database, we have question versioning and option versioning. For example, in wave after wave of survey administration, a question make go through several versions and be incremented up each time. The responses are tied to whichever version was used.
Is there a way to indicate that within Qualtrics so that it can later be utilized when pulled down from the API or even a regular download?
+11If I understand you correctly, you can use Embedded Data for this. You can pass the version through the URL.
i was able to speak with Q support and unfortunately, there isn't a great way to do this. I wanted to match the version in Qualtrics with the version in my database - which already existed. So, even with a survey in its first instance, the question might be version 10 and the options on version 2 in my database. That said, I'll put in a product idea.
