+2So in one of the surveys we use we requested respondent to upload photos as part of the response. I see these photos to be named like “image.jpg”. I’d like to link them into my dashboard but I don’t quite know how to create the URL. Any documentation available for this?
P.S. I looked up the solution for the library but it seems the images hosted there are from survey producers not from participants.
+34You can make an embedded data field and set it to be ${q://QID1/UploadedFileLink} (just replace the QID# to the one that matches your question). Then once someone uploads a file in that question the embedded data field would show the link that Qulatrics creates to it.
+2So this needs to be done before the creation of the survey, I assume.
Can you clarify that the embedded data field (URLs) will be in the response value column? (I am using Qualtrics API to download the response data).
Also, Tableau seems to limit the size of the image to 128kb which is quite tight. Some of these uploaded images are quite big. Does Qualtric XM engine provide any image optimization such as thumbnail and small/medium/large image conversions?
