Thanks, contacted support earlier and they said to do just that. Have set it up without the server side beacon and seems to be working fine.
We also use Adobe DTM and it works fine. We usually set Qualtrics as a page load rule, 3rd party HTML
You can set logic at the intercept level to 'show if user has not taken X survey before' - this should hopefully solve your issue.
A slider type creative aligned along the bottom left of the screen or the far right of the screen has also worked for us. Keep in mind to have the slider as small as possible so as not to interfere with navigation.
Hey, bit of a late reply, but we regularly use Site Intercept to deploy notices and other banners on our customer facing sites. These are created using the 'infobar' creative template. You can set any element to 'close' the banner. Select the 'x' element, set the transparency to 99 and then resize it over the element (in your case, the 'I Agree' button). Once you've got the first template set up, it's pretty straight forward. Don't forget to set a mobile version of the banner as Site Intercept creatives are not responsive. I generally any device below 768px to show the mobile version.
