I see that it is possible to share Stand-alone workflows with individuals, but is it possible to share them with a Qualtrics group? I am interested in this because sharing with a Qualtrics group vs. sharing with individuals would save me a bit of time. I’m thinking it is not possible, but I thought I’d check.
Hi All, I am adding some embedded data to calculate the percentage of a score. I use the following for the value of the embedded data field with the piped text in that calculation being the piped text for the scoring:$e{ ( gr://SC_emoKcRxLvqHeFTw/Score / 3 ) * 100 } Is there anything I can add here, so the results would be rounded when included in my report? I saw some folks discussing some things in the developer forums, but it was not quite in this context. Thanks in advance for any guidance you have.
Can a value from a custom embedded data field in from a survey be used as piped text in survey invitation created via a distribution list? When I send preview messages, the value for the custom embedded field does not appear, instead the piped text code appears. In my testing nothing populates where the value should be. Neither the value nor the piped text code. So, my conclusion is that you cannot use this data because there are no responses to the survey yet. The value I want is located in an embedded data field at the beginning of my survey. I had hoped to use a library message with piped text, so I could reuse a message that has one small piece of text that changes each time I use it. Can someone confirm?
I have some course surveys that I want to add an embedded data field to that will indicate the date the course started. I have been experimenting with different variable types (number, text, date) under the options menu, and this data never appears in the results tab in Qualtrics nor on a .csv export of the data. I’ve named the field CourseStrartDate. The results are being ingested into a database via an AI (I am not the one handling that), so it would be nice to have this piece of information. I have three other fields that are text variable types (instructor, CourseName, CourseType), and they consistently appear. Can anyone advise?
Hi folks. I have several course feedback surveys with workflows that are initiated by a survey response and culminate in a survey distribution via the XM directory task. These surveys are copied when a new course is offered. The workflows are copied along with the surveys, but some information in the XM directory task needs to be updated. However, I am wondering if I could automate some of the messaging text. I haven’t used library messages for the invitation email or the reminders because we want to reference a name of a course in the text. I am wondering if either of the following methods would work for streamlining this part of the workflow. If the both work, does anyone have thoughts on which one is more reliable or a better practice?Put the title of the text in a question that does not appear to users and use piped text to populate the course name in the subject line and email message body. Include the title as embedded data and used piped text to populate the course name in the
I have a bit of an unusual use case and I am looking for ideas to help either automating a survey distribution or making it more manageable if there is no automated option. The folks I am working with have some instructional materials posted on a website that they would like feedback on immediately after folks have viewed them, one month after they have viewed them, and 3 months after they have viewed them. We are collecting immediate-post feedback via an anonymous link posted at the end of the materials. We are collecting one-month post feedback by using a workflow triggered by completing the immediate-post survey that distributes the one-month post survey to an email address provided in the immediate-post survey. Those emails are also added to a contact list. For the three-month post survey, I’d like to be able to use the distribution via a workflow method used for the one-month survey, but the timing on that is limited to 30 days from completion of the survey that triggers the
