Matrix groups without clustering

Hi everyone, I am trying to create a matrix with 21 statements. Is it possible to group them into 3 groups in the results but randomize them in the survey takers’ view? So far I have only been able to randomize them within the groups and randomize the groups themselves.

How to wrap embedded data text?

I’m looking to add a URL from my embedded data into the question text. However, when I do this, half of the URL gets cut off in mobile view. To view the full URL, the user would need to scroll to the side, which isn’t ideal. The URL also isn’t clickable - just showing up as static text. How can I adjust this?

Collecting feedback at a conference

Hi all. Our Marketing division is hosting a conference for employees and I’m exploring options for collecting feedback during the conference. Does anyone have any experience doing this and what worked well and what didn’t? I imagine the meeting format will be keynote speakers in an auditorium (with the presentation via Teams) and breakout sessions in smaller meeting spaces (also presented via teams). I imagine there would be a mix of people bringing their laptops and joining the Teams meetings, and some that do not bring their laptops (but might have their phones). I’m wanting to consider everything, projecting QR codes, using SMS, links to a survey, etc. Thanks in advance for any ideas and feedback you have.~Leslie

Guidance on emailing files based on multi-select answer

I an trying to have folks select from many files at the end of a survey from a multi-select question, and then email links to the files selected. The best I have come up with is:Add the Qualtrics file identifier number as a recode value Branch based on number of files chosen (up to 10) Set embedded data fields for each answer Send the email with the embedded data fields with unique file ids amongst 10 email templates in urls to provide only the files selected.Is there a better/cleaner less human error prone way of managing this?

Display logic from a Matrix question, using Javascript

In the attached photo, I have a matrix question. I’m looking for some JavaScript so that a future question will only appear if at least 2 shows are selected. It does not matter if the boxes selected are computer, mobile, or tablet. Regular Qualtrics display logic gets massive. Qualtrics support suggested I ask the community about a JavaScript option.

I need the same questions answered multiple times for registering animals

Good Morning,I am attempting to convert a paper enrollment form into a Qualtrics survey. To prevent cheating, we require our 4-H poultry project participants to register their birds before check-in. I have my survey divided into three blocks: personal contact info for the member, bird information for identification at check-in, and a finish and sign. I have a loop and merger set on the second block with a yes or no question at the end of the block, and a page break in between, yes is set in the workflow to trigger a return to the beginning of the block and refill the answers, no is supposed to send them to the finish and sign block and ending the survey. it feels like I've tried every configuration, Skip logic on No, branch to blocks in survey flow, both, neither. every time I get two chances to fill in new info, and the next is already filled with my first two answers. I was able to get help and an operational survey in Google Docs, but not everyone has a Gmail, and I won't make them

How do I create a link for the respondent to send the questionaire to another person?

I am creating a survey where a parent will complete a questionnaire about their child. I then want the parent to send the questionnaire to a teacher to also complete the questionnaire about their child. Is there a way that Qualtrics can generate a link to make it easy for the parent to email the questionnaire link to the teacher? Also - can I generate an automatic code to link the questionnaires together? Thanks for any advice you can give.

Use piped text and image in Distribute Survey Task following a Salesforce Outbound Message within a workflow

Hi all,I'm trying to randomly change the text and the order of answer options in a single multiple-choice question using JavaScript.Here's what I'm trying to do: Randomly change the question text: Option 1: "Here is a 7-point scale on which the political views that people might hold are arranged from extremely liberal to extremely conservative." How to increase the width of answers, when the survey and question widths have both been increased

Hi all,I’ve modified my custom CSS (thanks to some very helpful questions and answers here on the forum!) to increase the width of the overall survey, and also of the questions. However, that doesn’t seem to increase the width of the answers, which remain stuck at the original width. I’ve scoured the questions here and can’t figure out what CSS tag refers to answer width -- can someone help? (My questions are either text entry or multiple choice displayed horizontally.) Side-by-Side Form

I was trying to set up a form in Qualtrics using a side-by-side question. Side-by-side would work well as it means a lot of the rows/ columns are visible on one screen, BUT I ran into a few problems. Here is a simplified version of what I’m trying to do:But it gets a bit more complicated, as ideally the codes in the drop down are dependent on other answers (maybe this isn’t possible). AND the drop down options include ‘Other specify’, so I assume I’ll need a open text box column to the right of each drop down question for other specify comments? HOWEVER I think the critical issue is that I can’t have a drop-down question that is multi-coded? I have 6 or 7 questions in the form that are multi-coded, each with 10+ codes. So, that would make the form very wide. Is there another way of doing this? Or a different question type? But need to have everything on one page. So if each row was split into separate questions, then respondents would need to scroll up or down a lot to see each record

Future Date Validation

Trying to compare entered date to embedded data date and make sure the entered date is after the embedded data date. This is being applied in a Loop and Merge block. Things are mostly working, but for some reason dates entered in 2025 are NOT being allowed, even if they should be passing the validation. Validation settings are as follows:Current loop, entered date, Matched Regex for mm/dd/yyyy: ^(0[1-9]|1[0-2])/(0[1-9]|[12]\d|3[01])/(19|20)\d{2}$ AND Current loop date entered “is greater than” embedded data date, defined at the beginning of the survey in survey flow as: ‘Plus14 = ${date://OtherDate/m%2Fd%2FY/+14%20day}’ Validation properly fails when dates are entered within 14 days of today, provided they are in 2024. Dates after 12/31/2024 also fail, but should be allowed to pass...

Scoring of the correct/incorrect answers

Dear Qualtrics-masters, please help me with this issue. For my master-research I have created a survey with 20 questions. Each question has 3 answer options of which only one is correct. In the scoring of the survey I chose 1 point for the correct answers and left the other two empty, assuming that in the end it'll score the total for 20 questions based on the number of correct answers.See screenshot Now I have the data exported to CSV as numeric values. The survey is long closed, so I can't correct the design of it (i didn't do any embedded things in the flow to calculate the score automatically, that was way to complicated for me). And in the CSV file I see that it shows which answer the respondents chose, just number 1, 2 or 3. But didn't score if it was wrong or correct. As sometimes 1 was correct, sometimes 3 was correct, so just summing up the numbers won't help me to see how well they scored on the test. How can I fix this? How can I export the data from Qualtrics into an CSV t

Assistance Needed with Overpayment Issue

Hi Qualtrics Team,We have been trying to reach the Qualtrics finance team via phone and email regarding our invoices but have not received any response. We also contacted our account representative to help connect us with someone who can address our query.Last year, we upgraded to CoreXM Advanced one month before our previous plan ended (9/26/2022 - 9/25/2023). It appears we were charged full license amount for both that month (8/31/2023 - 9/25/2023) and the full year after (8/31/2023 - 8/30/2024). While our account executive acknowledged this issue via email, we have yet to receive a refund for the overpayment.Could you please assist us in resolving this matter? I have invoices and payment details that I can share if someone from Qualtrics can reach out to us via email.Thank you for your help!

Qualtrics Renewals Nightmare

We have been attemping to pay for our renewal since June and have had zero luck in getting a response. We have attempted to have an invoice issued several times, have contacted our account manager, renewals, support, nothing. We finally heard back from someone who said we would receive our invoice within two business days - this was two weeks ago, we haven’t received anything. Our account is set to expire today. Can someone please assist?

SMTP Relay authentication using DKIM

Hello Team, Our client prefers to use SMTP Relay to transfer all Qualtrics emails to their own email server.However, they do not wish to use either basic authentication or OAuth 2.0. Instead, they would like to authenticate using DKIM in the emails.I reviewed the documentation, but DKIM is not listed as a supported option for authentication.Is there a possible workaround that could be implemented in this scenario?
