I’m conducting a research survey with Qualtrics and need some help with customising it for each participant. 

 

My survey is quite lengthy as it consists of one to two open questions in each section. I was wondering whether I could adjust the survey where it only shows one open question from one section to each participant. But with each participant it needs to be a different section so the data is proportionate. 

 

Not sure if that makes sense. But if it does then how can I do this? Do I need to create various new surveys consisting of each section or can I do all of that in one?

 You can evenly randomize these questions to show only one to each participant and it would also be evenly distributed.
Go to advance randomization of that block and create random subset of those 2 open ended questions and check evenly display counts. And write 1 in number of questions to present.
